Description of Work: Living room and some bedrooms were steam cleaned. They were punctual and efficient. They will honor coupon that comes in the mail, ONLY if they know about it ahead of time. Their system does not leave you with soaking wet carpets.

Description of Work: Cleaned all heavily traveled traffic areas/rooms in our home along with our Lab's favorite upholstered chair and an upholstered office chair that one of our kitties likes to call his. SS has been to our home every year since we bought it new in 2011. They do a great job every time they come getting our carpets clean (not always an easy feat considering we have 3 indoor cats, a 100+ lb lab that spends a great deal of time indoors along with many other lost or abandon 4-legged "children" that seem to find an invisible sign knowing they are always welcome here); they are friendly (a family run business from the office to workers in the field, they take pride and special care to be sure you are happy); are willing to accommodate your schedule and appear to be willing to accommodate nearly any special request you may have regarding services even after arriving. They are also very speedy, which is a wonderful asset. Also, even in cold weather our carpets have dried fairly quickly, which having all of our "kids" in crates during the cleaning process, we consider to be an important asset. Of all of the times we have used their services, we only had one time where the carpets were left much too damp and it took several days to dry compared to the usual few hours. We would definitely recommend you give them a try; you will NOT be disappointed.

We have become accustomed to the owner writing up our report once the carpet cleaning [annual] was completed and being fairly comfortable with not only the report, but the cleaning results as well. This time, our carpet looked more like someone had done just a good vacuum job - nothing bad, nothing great. The report itself was disappointing and quite surprising as well, but to each his own.

+ -1 moreWe have been using Stanley Steemer on an annual basis since we purchased our home in September of 2011. For each visit, the owner, John, has actually worked side-by-side with his crew making sure that every aspect of our job was completed to our satisfaction. For each visit, the project has varied, depending on our needs for that year. We have had them clean our floor tile, which also included the shower tile. Wow, what a great idea to suck out all of the germs from accidents from a new puppy and the elements from the outdoors that my Shark steamer just couldn't handle. On our last appointment we also chose to have our carpet deodorized. Some of the add-on services cost a little more than what we would like to spend, and in all honesty the scent did not last as long as what I had hoped, but the team once again did a wonderful job cleaning our carpet. They go out of their way to do a really good job without the necessity of spot treating and are careful with our furniture, the walls, our indoor kitties, and they are courteous, polite young men. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asks.

+ 0 moreIt was okay. It was expensive because we had them do the tile and had them fill the tiles. They did an okay job. I don't know that it was worth that amount of money. We just moved in so the carpets were cleaned and they just did the tiles and they didn't have to move a whole lot. They offered to move things. I thought the grout would just really brighten up and it didn't brighten up as much as I hoped it would. They were very responsive and they were very nice guys. I would probably not use them again because it was too expensive.

+ -1 moreI was told they don't move electronics or heavy furniture to clean, so I moved all the electronis and heavy furniture. He cleaned around the rest. I had to move everything even light stuff, he wouldn't move anything. Carpet looked good til it dried, then spots came back. Will not use them again, he was in too much of a hurry to get to the next customer to do a good job.

+ -1 moreThey were there right on time and were efficient and timely. The only problem that I had was after they left. There multiple spots of "staining" from dirty water that I had to treat and clean again. They were able to get some hard stains out, but then It appeared that the water from those stains caused other surface stains. These stains were the same color as the wet carpet. At first I thought they were from the pad coming up after being treated(something I know happens some times) but these were in new areas and only on the tops of the carpet fibers. Prior to leaving they had me check the areas cleaned and offered to go over any areas I thought needed more attention. I don't know if it was the technique used, operators error or just the condition of my carpet. If I were to only use the steam again without shampoo I would discuss this with them prior to them leaving and then have them come back. In their defense I did not call to discuss my concerns or the new water stains that were left. I didn't have time for them to come back prior to our company. I would handle things differently but would probably use them again.

+ -1 moreThey arrived on time and gave us an estimate. I took advantage of the time it took to measure square footage to look for an online coupon. I found one and it was accepted. We haven't had the tile sealed, so they did that after cleaning. Overall it looks good. I'm a little disappointed that there were some places where the grout didn't come back to the lighter color of the rest of the grout. They gave me several minutes to look around to make sure I was happy with their work. The problem with tile cleaning is that if the grout is still wet, it's hard to tell if it's clean and the original color is restored. I was a little disappointed in the price. I probably could have sealed it myself for about half of what they charged. However, it's done and I didn't have to get on my hands and knees! (Probably couldn't have gotten up afterwards if I had!)

+ -1 moreThey scheduled me a week or two of my call (I can't remember). The gentlemen were courteous and offered me a break on the deodorizing since I had cleared all the furniture out of 3 rooms with the exception of one piece of furniture. They were thorough. The only disappointment was how wet the carpet felt in spots - I wonder if they could've gone over those areas and sucked out more moisture? It took a day and a half for all of the carpet to get dry. They were able to get most of the spots out - some were old, old spots that had been here when I moved in. Overall, I'd call them in again but with the request to go over the carpet one last time to suck out more of the moisture.
Description of Work: They pulled out hoses out of their van - hooked one up to the outside water spigot on the house. Checked to see if the legs on the furniture were plastic or wood. I stayed out of the way so I didn't see everything they did. They did have me check one room to show how much dirt had come up. When they were finished, they wound all the hoses up, loaded up their van then came and did the bill.

+ 2 moreExcellent experience, scheduled for within a few short days, called to see if they could come an hour or so early, came in and did work quickly and with fabulous results. Only downfall that I don't know if could be prevented was some freshly painted trim got scuffed, due to dragging in and out of the hoses and the paint not being dried hard yet. Overall excellent service and I would highly recommend them for anyone in the market to sell their home or clean up their carpets.
