About us

Specialized Tree Stump Removal is based out of Summit County, CO. I am the owner and operator for my small business. I started my business in January 2010. I work all over the mountains, and usually spend 1 day a week in the Front Range. I am happy to travel to where you are, however, I can't promise that every job will work out. I wish I could drive to Grand Junction to grind out a $100 stump, but that is not always the case. My business is growing rapidly, and I attest that to the quality of the work I perform. I look at every job as my own yard, and I would not leave a mess in my yard. The machine that I use gives me the upper hand over many competitors. I can grind more stumps, in less time. I also have the ability to grind over a foot underground, ensuring the entire tree stump is gone. I am happy to grind 1 stump for you, or 2000. My pricing is very affordable, and the more stumps you have, the cheaper it gets. Tree stumps are gross. Give Specialized Stump Removal the chance to improve your property. He was very professional he brought his equipment just in case. He was fast and continued his work.

Description of Work: jeff gave us an estimate on wednesday. once we accepted the quote, the work was completed in a workmanlike manner within 24 hours. jeff was very pleasant. arrived on time, and completed the work to our complete satisfaction. we would definitely use jeff again, and would feel very comfortable referring our friends and neighbors to him

they did a great job and cleaned up where the piles had been. arrived on time and completed the job as promised. i have them scheduled to take out more tree stumps in september.
Description of Work: loaded and hauled appx 3 tons of tree slash to the county dump. in 2011 and 2012 they removed tree stumps .

Jeff is very professional and easy to work with. He was quick to respond for a quote and then returned to the house to walk the property with me to make sure we agreed what would be removed. He communicated his timeline clearly and kept me up to date on the progress. He did the work while we were away and I couldn't be happier with the result. He removed 20 stumps from our property with his grinding equipment. I was amazed that he was able to remove stumps that grew right up alongside the house with no damage. I wish everyone had Jeff's professionalism and quality of work.

Jeff did a fantastic job with the tree and stump removal. He did all the work unsupervised, as we were travelling at the time of service. The appearance of both properties is greatly improved, and I would heartily recommend Specialized in the future!
Description of Work: Jeff removed over 30 stumps and two blown over trees from our (and our neighbors) yard. Stumps were the result of severe beetle kill in our area. As a mountain property, the soil is extremely rocky and difficult to grind stumps out of.

The whole experience was fantastic. Jeff was great very outgoing and nice. He uses a large sump grinder that was able to access our tough to reach stumps. He ground them down to below the surface then repaired the holes. It didn't take that long and he did 71 stumps for us. He did a great job and I know we will be calling him again. Do call him!
Description of Work: Jeff has a large stump grinder that he uses to grind the stump down to below ground level. He is able to access tough to reach places with it, this was helpful for us since some of our stumps were down in the back yard. He then cleaned up the holes and filled them in with the ground up material. He did a great job for us!
