Quality Stucco West did a horrible job on my brand new home. After three years the paint job is streaking and fading. It as if the stucco and paint were not mixed well and discoloration started to bleed out of the stucco. Charlie the representative blamed it on the weather, the contractor and other reasons but would not take responsibility even after coming out twice over the couple years to inspect it. Would not recommend this company from my experience.

The office staff was responsive and quick to action; communication with the grounds crew could be heightened. I had the siding of my home removed as well as a deck. A service probably not typically offered and I was thankful that it was done. Communication with me would have made the surprise that my deck and siding was going to be taken (disposed of) to my neighbor on my west side. I don't mind and now sentimentally see the recycled siding on their cabin. It would have been nice to know though. There was an issue when during the process an electrical line was punctured and an appliance (stove) was without electricity, the office staff responded quickly and repairs were made. This was (what I would assume) an offseason application, Oct-Dec., I had contracted for the foundation to be done and waited for completion (December) (all the attachable items, outside electrical box, outside wiring that need to be attached was still hanging off the structure), a bill arrived for payment. I called and there was an immediate response and work began on the foundation. Half of the foundation was complete and I was called for payment and expressed that there was a whole section not done, it was expressed that the foreman had been told I said it wasn't supposed to be done, I hadn't been asked or talked to by anyone. During this, the crew that had half done the foundation during the fall time had hooked up their hose to the outside water faucet to fill water buckets (this sit for some time until I called asking what the status was), and at the same time turned on my water to my already winterized swamp cooler without my knowledge and never shut it off. The result was an early morning surprise for me when I randomly went to the back of my home and saw that my swamp cooler line was spraying a mist of water, had burst and I had six inched of ice on my roof and icicles off the roof. My neighbors were calling to make sure I knew. I called and they were very responsive, they came that day and removed the ice from the roof and side of home. Unfortunately, in doing so, we have the already broken line from the swamp cooler to the faucet, they damaged the faucet attachment to the swamp cooler line, damaged my back door from removing the ice and didn't offer to fix either the back door, hookup to the faucet or the line to swamp cooler. (yeah, this comes back since its springtime now and I am looking at it), the bad taste was when I received a call about the ice clean up and was told it looked like I had already had problems there, grrrr. I didn't even run my swamp cooler the year before and had winterized it previously. Anyway. The job was finally completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Quality Stucco West, not because there are communication errors, lack of inspection of work being done, and no communication from the field for mistakes made etc. The repairs do erk me though…. I would recommend them for the Quality of work that was done, when it was completed, the responsiveness of the staff and timely initiative that was taken when a problem was presented. I appreciated the extra work that was done with the deck and siding but would have liked some communication. To reaffirm my recommendation, I have referred two other friends/coworkers to Quality Stucco West. You’re going to need to be observant. (house photo is upside down and I can't fix)

Description of Work: Had some stucco cracking around windows and doors touched up. They did a good job but the price was a little steep for the couple of hours they were on the job. Overall very happy with their work.

Description of Work: repaired stucco damage and skim coated the wall. The color matching, while not perfect, was much better than I hoped and is why they got an A.

Description of Work: Actually a sub contractor for a large home facelift. These guys were the best part of the job. They took the extra care to point out some things that would have caused problems later

Four men came out everyday. Started work about 7:30-8:00 am and finished up between 4:00 and 5:00. They laid down protective carpeting, paper and plastic around the foundation of the house. They covered all windows, doors and scuppers with plastic. They cut out all damaged areas of failing stucco, applied repair materials, then put on synthetic basic coat, put up fiberglass mat on all house wall surfaces. After 1st coat was dry they went back and applied first color coat and then applied texture coat. All work was hand troweled. As they worked and had put on final coat they went around removed window and door protection and finished around said areas. After finishing the house they repeated same applications on patio wall except for the texturing as we had requested. They finished up the job by thoroughly cleaning up all areas and any stucco mess which was minimal. They came back several days later to clean up around base of patio wall.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced all areas of failing stucco. Applied fiberglass mat to all stucco surfaces. Resurfaced entire outside house with new finish coat. Hand troweled texture to house surface. Repaired existing patio wall with fiberglass Mat and resurfaced wall with same color as house.

Quality Stucco does good work. They re-stuccoed my building office 1.5 years ago and it continues to look and function well. I can tell they paid attention to the details. Excellent work. Fee was reasonable. I would use them again.
