We ordered the parts and I paid for them. Balance was due on completion. He set the aluminum posts in concrete on Friday. The parts arrived the next Tuesday, but some were damaged so they were sent back for replacement. All parts were delivered (except replacement parts) on Sunday. The replacements came in the following week and he started construction on the next Wed (he removed the existing awning and disposed of it for me) and finished up on Thursday. He completely cleaned up the yard and took away the boxes, etc that was left over. This product has a lifetime warranty, is sturdy and beautiful. I think the pergola is much prettier than the permanent cover would have been. I was completely satisfied with the product, the speed of completion and the professionalism of the contractor. He explained the process, the product and kept in touch when there were delays or issues. He was friendly and courteous. (He liked my dog!) Overall, it was a pleasant and efficient experience. He sent over his siding pro to look at my siding as it was very faded. The siding pro gave me a number to call for possible replacement per the warranty. Do make sure your contractor is licensed and that he works with the city/county for specific issues. I would definitely hire him again for other work. He went above and beyond to ensure I got what I wanted and alerted me to other possible issues.
