Joe and his two colleagues built the fence but the final product was with major flaws, which included shifted posts, pickets at 20+degree off from being perpendicular to the sea level, and with picket spacing that didn't match the existing fence, the geometry, and the proportions of the new fence were different from the existing fence. The gap between the fence and the ground higher than requested during the planning phase. What was promised to be a 3-4-day job, turned into a 2-week spectacle of inefficiency. They worked for only a few hours on the initial days, made numerous trips in tiny pickup truck to haul a lot of old fence away, and required additional trips to the store to get hardware because he didn't properly calculate the required hardware for the project. At the end the fence was fixed after I pointed out to Joe that leaning posts are plain wrong. He responded by saying that "if I am not happy with the fence, he will fix it" but because his work was lousy. Still, they worked many extra days to redo major portions of the fence they just built. It sems that I may have been their first customer with a fence project.
