Chuck did a fantastic job, his plans were very detailed and exactly what we talked about. Through the whole process Chuck has only been a text or a call away and has come to the site through out all the construction to check on the progress. Chuck is very easy to work with and we would for sure recommend him.

I enjoyed our first meeting—in which Chuck asked good questions and listened closely to my answers—and after seeing the early sketches I decided to go ahead with the project. Chuck began by exploring the existing house, making measurements, studying details, and doing numerous sketches. His enthusiasm for the project was encouraging. We collaborated frequently as he developed detailed plans and had them professionally reviewed. The plans moved easily through the permitting process, and they impressed the contractor and his subs once work began: I heard many times that the architect’s drawings and notes were more clear and complete than those they are used to working with. Chuck stayed involved throughout the project, helping me make decisions and offering creative solutions to the small difficulties that arose.

Mr. Medeiros was very easy to talk to and exchange ideas. He communicated well - in person and online - and his written work was well laid out. His references were easy to get in touch with and answered all of our questions. We, in the end, went with another architect, for various small reasons. None of which were because we felt that Mr. Medeiros wouldn't provide all that we needed. It was a tough decision. If you are looking for an architect that will design your dream project thoroughly and professionally, you should take the time to meet with Mr. Medeiros.

We got what we paid for but it was going to cost too much to proceed to get actual cost estimates and proceed with design and blueprints and construction. We were disappointed that we could not get actual cost estimates and design for a reasonable price so we could decide whether to pursue the addition.

As usual, it went great! This guy is a true professional. In the early stages of discovery we discussed several aspects of the job. I gave him my opinion on some optional ways and means that I thought wold make the job less expensive. As he progressed, Chuck would send be progressive plan developments as .pdf files that I could study on my computer. The aspect of Medeiros Architectural Group's that I like the most is his thoroughness. There are no grey areas. There are no available loop holes. Most architects do what is only necessary to get by. Many times, this leads to expensive Change Orders once the contract has been signed. Not so with this group. Chuck's plans are very instructional for everyone; for all the trades. This makes for a smooth execution of the work. There are minimal discrepancies. It makes my job as a builder so much easier. I strongly recommend the architect for any of your needs.

No second thoughts to re-engage him!

We've never done a remodel before. We live in a high-rise and needed to update our kitchen, put in some pocket doors, and a laundry closet. We thought we needed an architect to give us ideas and the structural parameters within which we needed to work. We bought the Big Deal for an architectural consult. Mr. Madeiros was very professional and offered us a few ideas. He is relatively new to the Denver area and wasn't sure if we needed permits for the work we wanted to do. He called the city for us, which was helpful. He gave us drawings of what we had described and his added idea. It ended up that we didn't need his services as we discovered that general contractor could do what we needed. We had the building and unit floor plans and lots of our own ideas, having done a lot of research. I think if you were going to create something out of nothing, his services would be more helpful.

He was very professional, personable and prompt. He provided good ideas and sketches for us and I would recommend him to anyone.

Chuck captured everything we talked about. he provided me with two design ideas and options and incorporated the details to make the kitchen very up to date.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. He was a lovely man and by the next day he had done some really useful, nice, pretty drawings which I am going to be able to use to consult general contractors and get prices if I need to on a project I may do. He certainly had a lot of good ideas and he is a good provider. If I go ahead and do the project with him he will give me a bid and so on. This was a new person to me.

Excellent work. very thorough. very high quality. excellent service. I have recommended to several others including our partor and next door neighbor. all have been pleased.

We had a garage attached by an open breezeway and we wanted to convert this to a bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, workshop and pantry. We needed an area for a large AC unit and we wanted to maximize our storage. One of the complications was dealing with the different levels of the house, breezeway and garage. Chuck came to our house and spent time exploring our needs and understanding them. My husband and I were very pleased with the way he achieved an efficient layout with everything we wanted and paid attention to all the little details that make things work. Chuck also transformed our weak house entry and facade into something we've received many complements on. The renovation cost $200,000 and we had no issues with permitting or construction. Chuck was always available and worked well with the contractor. We would definitely use him and recommend him.

My company's typical window & door replacement projects are for clients with existing older homes. Often there are no architectural plans for the houses, so Mr. Medeiros obtains microfilm records, does site visits in which the measurements of the houses are taken, together with extensive photographs. A significant amount of interaction is required between us as the client and the architectural firm to lay out the locations and detailed specifications of the windows & doors, which have complicated certifications documents. Compliance with the certifications must be verified for each and every window opening and Mr. Medeiros patiently attends to all these details in preparing the architectural plans. Once the architectural plans are ready for submittal, Mr. Medeiros personally navigates the plans through the complicated process of attendance at the required Board of Architects meeting (where the plans must be approved prior to submittal to the building department) and then through the various divisions of the building department. Of the fifteen or so projects that Medeirors Architectural Group has worked on for my company, only one had to be re-submitted for further review, however it was not the Architect's fault, but due to the design opinion of one of the architects on the Board for the City of Coral Gables. Furthermore, Mr. Medeiros follows up with me on each and every project he works on to see how the project went through completion. In all, I would have to say that I am very pleased with the services of Medeiros Architectural Group and I highly recommend Charles Medeiros.
