I phoned Lambert and Associates at approximately 9:00 a. m. on a Friday morning to request an on-site review. The Lab Manager answered the call and explained that the Engineer was in a meeting. The Lab manager took my name, contact information and a description of the problem. He was professional and courteous, confirmed that the requested work scope was in line with services provided by the company and said that he would have the Engineer return my call. I did not get a return call that morning and phoned back in at approximately 1:30 that afternoon. The receptionist told me that the Engineer was not available, but confirmed that he would be back in the office 'shortly'. I explained that I had left a message earlier and specifically asked if I could expect a return call that afternoon. My call was not returned until a Monday afternoon, 17 days later (two full working weeks). By this time, I felt that the company had blown off my call and was no longer interested in working with them. Apologies and excuses are too late.
