Essence Painting

Essence Painting/owned by Cory Nash painted exterior of our home and was paid in full at completion 6/20/21. Both parties agreed paint formula designed for vinyl siding would be used on vinyl siding. Vinyl siding began to warp approximately 3 weeks after painting. We contacted Essence/CoryNash who came to the home to see the damage and stated she would repaint and fix vinyl siding, honoring the warranty (which we paid extra for to last more than 3 years.) Defendant did not return call to set a time to do this work. We contacted Sherwin Williams Rep. who inspected paint application to vinyl siding and noted warping would not have occurred if vinyl safe formula had been applied and that paint cans left by Essence were labeled “not suitable for vinyl surfaces.” We contacted two vinyl siding companies to inspect vinyl and was told siding was not repairable. Cory Nash /Essence Painting never returned phone calls, or contacted us again. Cost to replace siding on three walls of our home: $7100.

These guys are scammers. They claim to be superior but do not be fooled. They promised to clean after painting and were to install a new door with a pet door. They left the house unlocked and front door wide open, there is overspray paint on everything - door knobs, wood blinds, speakers, shower doors, wood floors, bathtubs, tile floors, built in cabinetry.... There was paint spilled on the hard wood floor with a simple rag swipe across it, there are places that the wall wasn't even painted - behind the toilet tank, in the corner of the hall way ceiling.... They painted over nails in the walls and over anchors in the walls rather than remove and fill properly. AND they will not provide a receipt for the payment, despite being requested three separate times. The door (with doggie door) was never provided and the owner promised to reimburse for the cost of us purchasing and installing the door - but he has not done so. He has also promised three different times to get a cleaning crew to get the overspray taken care of but no-one has ever been sent. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.
