Description of Work: This very heavily advertised business had someone answering the phone in the middle of business hours that did not appear to have any knowledge of the business. My contact information was taken but no call back was received. When I called them back they unabashedly told me they would recommend that I call a competitor because they could not fit me in the schedule for over a month.

Description of Work: cleaned the furnace. Looked at the dishwasher and in less than 1 min. was able to tell us what has been wrong for the last 4 yrs. The dishwasher was under warranty and we had to go through Sears service. They could never get the problem fixed. Double D is extremely knowledgeable.

They are honest, one of the very first time we used them in the 90s, they had did a repair on our truck and a year later it went off, we went to them and they told us it was under warranty so we didn't pay for it. They called and said there is not going to be any charge because it was under warranty.

Description of Work: I thought the high end heating element had went out on my dryer, like it had a few years ago. I was going to attempt to fix it myself and Double D was extremely helpful on the phone with instruction on how to do it myself and save some money. It turns out it was more than the heating element. In the end, I had to have them perform the repairs.

 + -1 moreThey made their commitments. They fixed the stove. I wasn't involved in the conversation because it was on a rental. They came on time and called appropriately. He checked the stove, and there was a broken light bulb in the stove that wasn't replaced. They should have replaced it. The price was what I expected.

 + -1 moreOverall furnace works Good and A/C works good.
Description of Work: Double D removed our old furnace and then installed a furnace and air conditioner. The whole job went great and on time but it was left a bit ruff around the edges. When the wires were snaked thru the walls the dry wall was damaged, wire end cuts and insulation was left on the ground and the wood they used to mount the furnace was an old 2x4 and does not look good. as well the slot that was cut for the filter was a hack gob and not finished and a neat apperance and I have to custom cut filters to fit.

 + -1 moreThey came out and did a great job and put it all back together when they fixed my washer. When I called them about my refrigerator they told me what was wrong and how to fix it. They then called back later to follow up and make sure everything was working correctly afterwards. The service charge they have is very good compared to other companies.
