CHUCK'S SPRINKLER SVC

Terrible service no return calls , didn’t meet scheduled sprinkler blow out, on two separate occasions, same property, an deed they don’t seem to care

This company is absolutely terrible Do Not Use Them!!!! Last year they did not blow our system out in time told us to put a blanket and pull the plug out of the Pump and This year they called a month ago said And said we were on the schedule and they would have it blown out before it froze I called and called last week Several times with no response we are out of town I finally got a hold of them our system is completely froze up pump is broke and they said the domestic water is a priority and the only response was sorry. Very unprofessional! Terrible!

We have had Chuck’s Sprinkler the last couple of years and this is the last straw with them. They have winterized our sprinkler system with them in the past. They say they guarantee their work, but they lie. Last winter they were suppose to winterize our system. We waited and waited. Finally, we called them repeatedly to winterize the system and they finally told us to place a blanket around the pump and brass inlet valve. We did that and finally they arrived and found out entire system was frozen. It took two days to blow out the system. This spring we found the brass inlet valve and pipes were broken. When we called them, they first refused to fix the inlet valve saying it was our problem and then later charged us. Their guarantee is not worth anything. Don’t let them fool you!

I had pushed a wrong button my system could not be adjusted. They found the problem right away , showed me what I had done explained everything answered all my questions and then they checked all my sprinkler heads. Great Job!

Work was done very professionally and on time. We will use this service again.

When they showed up it had been raining so, they could not go in the back yard to measure but, they were givin a plan with the measurements of the yard on it and were told they could come back ounce it dried put to measure. Never heard a word from them after that.

They gave my wife an estimate and went way over and she complained and since then they have been undercharging for their service. We would probably use them again in the future.

They performed the job very quickly and efficiently. They people who performed the job were nice guys. I would use them again in the future.

Last fall (2010) the person from their firm who winterized our system damaged the plug and failed to let us know. When it came time to start the system up in the spring we could not get things to work and they had to come out to replace the damaged parts. They did not have the parts, so we had to wait for them to get them and return, which they did several days later. They did not charge for parts or labor. However in the meantime our lawn was going without irrigation water. This fall (2011) I received a voicemail asking if I wanted them to winterize the system again. I thought that since they had repaired the damage without charge that I would give them another try. So I called them back but was instructed by the message to just leave my name and information and I would be put on the schedule. I never received any return call giving me an appointment or even a general idea of which day they would arrive. I had already scheduled a painter to come to do trim work on our home and they arrived to winterize just as the painter left on 10/12/2011. Winterizing requires blowing dirty ditch water out of all the sprinkler heads and this would have spewed brown water all over my still wet white paint. When I said that I didn't want them to winterize the system right then they were rude, saying they didn't know if they would be back. True to their word, despite my repeated messages left with their scheduler and a promise from her that they would return on 10/26/2011, they never did return. I was really concerned because the first really hard freeze, which would have ruined the system's pump, was to occur on 10/26. I was told just to cover the pump with blankets and that would have to be enough for the night. Fortunately the neighbors had their system being done by someone else (Bryan Bernal) and I was able to get that person to do the work at the very last moment instead. I called and left a last message with Chuck's to forget coming out since the work was done. The young man who did the work was polite and cost 25% less than Chuck's would have charged me based on last year's fee.

They showed up at the time I was told they would be there. They installed the sprinkler system in the Front and back yard. I thought it would take them a couple of weeks to get it in but it only took them 4 days. They did not mind me or my wife watching and asking question about what was being done. They went through the system and timer with me before they left. and told me to call if I have any questions.
