BUDGET BLINDS

After a lenghty delay, our blind is fixed, Sean has made some changes in his office, and I think future business with him will be a much better experience.

He arrived late. I told him I wanted Hunter Douglas cellular shades. He said fine, showed me some examples and a bid. I accepted the bid, paid 700 down and they were ordered and he said they would arrive in 2 weeks. 4 weeks later I called him and was told they were in. The installer who was very professional came to the house and installed some cellular shades. They looked cheap so I asked what brand they were and he said "Alta". I said I had ordered Hunter Douglas and he suggested I call the owner, Sean. I called him and he offered to come out to the house. He came to the house and told me he usually uses this brand because they have a better warranty than Hunter Douglas because they are guaranteed for 5 years. I said I thought Hunter Douglas had a lifetime warranty. He said they do but its not as complete. I said I wanted the brand I ordered and told him I believed this was a bait and switch tactic in that I did not get what I wanted and ordered but rather received an inferior quality blind for the same price. He said these blinds are made in the Hunter Douglas factory. After much discussion he agreed to order the Hunter Douglas shades. I am now waiting to see what happens next.
