Looks like I just paid someone to sit in my house and piddle all day. Apparently she had the nerve to say she needed a few more hours when it was obvious she had not done what she said she was going to do. The place is still a mess and I'm out 160.00 dollars. Very Disappointing as I trusted someone on Angies list would be trustworthy.

I was hired to do this job over the phone. I usually do not take on a job with-out doing an estimate. I was asked to do a deep-clean on three bathrooms, and the kitchen. I was told that everything would be cleared out, so i could complete the job. This house was by far not ready to be deep-cleaned. There were belongings in all the cupboards, on the countertops. The refrigerator and freezer had food in it. When i arrived, i was told there was no electricity and was expected to clean the bathrooms upstairs in the dark. There was a bag of ice left in the freezer, which ended up being a big project. There was also a leak under the kitchen sink that was not mentioned to me, and that took a while to clean up. If everything was packed up and cleared out i would have been able to get this done with-in the time frame. [Members Name] told me that the oven would just need wiped out, because he did the self clean. When i talked to his wife she asked me to clean the oven because of not having electricity she couldn't do the self clean. The bathroom down stairs was full of their belongings. there were several things on the floors. If this client wanted me to do a deep clean, they should have waited to schedule this when they were actually ready. I spend a lot of my time moving their things out of the way and throwing things away. The only reason i agreed to do this job over the phone, is because i know how stressful moving can be. I trusted [Members Name] that this house would be ready for a deep clean, and clearly it was not. I stayed an hour extra with-out pay just trying to get things done for these clients, and didn't expect to be paid for that. I will no longer agree to do a job with-out doing an estimate.

I've been using Brandy for the past 1 1/2 years. In fact, I was the one who added her service to Angie's Listings. She has been more than excellent in all the above and since I am on oxygen 24/7 and hard for me to get around she has gone far beyond just cleaning for me but has helped me in so many other ways. I have recommended her to a friend who is having Brandy help her today in fact.

Description of Work: I have COPD and am on oxygen and had special needs regarding cleaning. I had to hire new cleaning service as one I had was not reliable. Called Brandy - she came out next day to check out house size, what has to be done etc. Worked out very well - I have since hired her to come out every 2 weeks - she is very punctual, very thorough in cleaning - does windows, deep cleans, will even do things that need to be done outside. With my problem breathing - I cannot change my bedding, or make the bed and that is one of the things she does for me. She will work by the hour or by the job. Since she has been to my house now 4 times and knows what has to be done on regular basis - she is now doing my house by the job.as she knows how long it takes for regular cleaning. I have also referred her to a friend who has used her several timews and she also was very happy with her work.
