Alpine Glass

At first we were pleased when we sat down with Jeremy to create our custom window order. He seemed knowledgeable, understood our project, and recommended the appropriate windows for our design aesthetic and budget. Previously, we had tried to make our large window order with Lowe's and Home Depot, but were discouraged by the lack of product expertise at those stores, and wanted more personalized service. However, when the windows we ordered with Alpine arrived, we were very disappointed with their quality. Almost every window in our $17,000 order had something wrong with it, whether it was paint overspray, paint underspray, crooked glass, weld gaps, short beads, wrong hardware, etc. Other than the paint and hardware issues, Jeremy suggested that many of the problems were due to how we were installing the windows, which we found offensive and insensitive. We invited Jeremy to visit our project and view the faults and the installation for himself, but he declined, saying the situation was out of his hands and that we should deal with the manufacturer. We felt hung out to dry by this dealer and wonder how he can continue to sell this product and fail to care about the quality of the product that was delivered to us (or even be curious or concerned about our complaints). We realize that Alpine Glass has no control over the manufacturing quality of the (Milgard) windows they sell, but we feel Alpine Glass would have been better served by advocating and showing concern for this customer instead of dismissing us. We cannot recommend Alpine Glass in Grand Junction, based on this experience.
