These guys were outstanding. It was the day after we had a good snow. We had about ? depending on the area its 5 feet inches on the ground on the day before so the traffic was kind of crazy for them to come out, but they were on time showing up at the location to move from. There were two guys, one guy's name was Zac and the other on was Zan. They were the actual movers and they were outstanding. They were very friendly, very professional and they took great care of all of my household goods loading the van and also off loading. They did not pack or unpack for me, basically it was just a straight move. I had everything in storage so it was taking things from storage, putting them into the van and then taking up to my house and unloading into the house. They were very professional and they took great care in all of my belongings and then not only the belongings, but my house because I just had my hardwood floors put in and also my carpets cleaned so they made sure that they did not step foot on the hardwood floors or the carpets because I'd laid some plastic yarn and stuff. They even put down the mover's tag and they took extra care in making sure that they did not step on my hardwood floors or my carpeting. They were really good about that. These guys were terrific. I can't recommend them highly enough and if I was to do another move, I would definitely call them. I would highly recommend them to anybody to use them in a move. I paid $373.75 for 4 hours and 15 minutes of billing time. They charge $75 per hour and then one time fee of $75, kind of a fuel/admin charge.

These guys were excellent and fast! I was still packing a few boxes while they were moving my stuff and I started to worry that they might finish before I was done. I'd definitely recommend being ready to go when they show up. They offer packing services and, in hindsight, I probably should have used them. They took great care in moving my belongings and disassembled/reassembled furniture where needed for no extra cost. They showed up on time and didn't take any breaks until lunch time, which coincided with the drive between the old place and the new one. The movers were very personable and it sounded like they'd been with the company for a number of years and were very happy working there. My job was quoted out hourly and the rate was very reasonable. Overall, it came out much cheaper than I thought it would. I would not hesitate to use this company again and have already recommended them to another friend who is moving soon.

The crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. It was so much work, at one point it looked like they might not finish, but they really worked hard and got it all done by about 4 pm. There were 6 guys and 2 trucks; I think that is the only way we could do it so quickly. Brian is very experienced and knew what to recommend. They were polite and careful with all of my stuff. They rolled with the punches - there are always surprises. We had just had wood floors put in in the new house, and the crew was so careful not to damage the floors. The charge for moving was $1900, but I bought donuts, Gatorade, provided lunch from a nice burger place (don't try to feed them McDonald's - they get this too often), and tips were expected. A few minor complaints: after they left, I discovered that some boxes had been put in the wrong rooms, even though they were labeled - like things that belonged in the garage and the kids' bath (upstairs) were put in the basement. This was partly due to me not being able to supervise every moment as the truck was unloaded; when I stood by the truck and said "basement" as they took the box off, it did get into the basement. Also, they put our desks together incorrectly, and we had to take them apart and put them back together. And the only downside of working with a small company is that they have limited availability; but the flip side of this is that you get real employees who have been with the company for a while, not subcontractors picked up from who knows where. Mostly they got everything right, and they were more careful and professional than any movers I've worked with. Highly recommend and would definitely use them again.

Great! I recently moved, interstate, and found several weeks after the move that I needed some large, heavy pieces of furniture moved to other locations in my new home. I received quotes from several local movers. I had to leave a voice mail when I called, but my call was returned very promptly. Their price was in line with the other movers I called, and they were able to schedule me within two days of my call. They called before they arrived in the time frame promised. They arrived on time and worked quickly but carefully. Upon request, they moved a large number of book boxes to my basement, a service I hadn't originally requested, but that they were able to accommodate - even though it took longer than anticipated. Their pricing is very fair - they charge to the nearest quarter-hour. They also did a local move for a friend in July 2010 and did a great job.

We talked via phone messages and email. I didn't use their services as several unexpected people were able to help move the items. However, I will contact them again as they were courteous and seemed fair.

Brian and Annette, the owners, did a great job of communicating with me prior to the actual job. They determined that a 3-man team would be best to get the job done in a timely manner, even though a 2-man team was originally quoted. The guys called me 30 minutes before they arrived at the storage facility, as promised, and worked hard the entire day. The two drop-off destinations added some complexity to the job, but the guys handled it well and worked until after dark to get the job done (without complaint). This was one of the only moving companies that worked over the weekend, our move was performed on a Sunday, so that is another customer-friendly aspect of this company. Job well done. I will recommend this company to others.

They moved us very quickly. Placed every piece of furniture in the exact place I wished, even moving some severl times and finished before their estimated time. We were very pleased.

They did a fantastic job! They were very punctual, extremely careful with our things, and accomplished the job very quickly.

The guys showed up right on time and had my entire 2 bedroom apartment loaded in 2.5 hours. They then went to my storage unit and completely unloaded it as well. The unload into my new condo went very quickly as well. I had labeled my boxes and they placed them in the correct rooms and asked where I wanted all my furniture. It all went very smoothly, all of my items arrived undamaged. They were very pleasant and professional and quick, they didn't waste any time getting things done. I would recommend them to anyone and use them again in a heartbeat.

They did just fine. They moved from a storage to an assisted living facility, so it wasn't a big job. It's run by a couple. They showed up on time and did the job. That was that.

Excellent service! I highly recommend this company. They dedicated themselves to the my needs, gladly went above and beyond, and at very reasonable rates. Always courteous, on time and prepared. Brian and Annette gave me information up front that helped me choose their company. Brian's estimate allowed me to accurately estimate the total cost. Annette led up the packing team. They followed my directions and did an excellent job. Annette then worked with me, taking several of my after hours phone call, to strategize how to keep all my goods in one very full truck. Brian headed up the loading team and handled everything so cleverly everything was able to find a place on the truck. The help to load and unload were professional and friendly. The unloading went very smoothly. In all cases Brian, Annette and their people were on time and ready.

I can't figure out how these guys can stay so friendly and helpful the entire time they are hauling all of this heavy stuff. The entire experience was handled very professionally. They showed up right on time to pack our stuff. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was packed very well and we lost nothing durring the move. Even at the very end they were happy to move furniture an inch this way or that way for my wife so that she was happy with the position. The best moving experience we have ever had!

We stalled on calling movers, because we thought we could get it all packed and just have someone else move it. Well, as we got closer to the end of the month, we realized that wasn't going to happen. So, I started calling companies with A ratings on Angie's List with the most reviews, seeing if they could also finish our packing. Your Personal Movers just happened to have a cancellation to get a truck on time and squeezed me in for later that week. (Don't stall! This was probably a fluke!) They wouldn't have a truck available until Saturday, but the owners came over the day before to get everything packed up. Annette asked lots of questions to get an accurate assessment of how long it would likely take to pack, and clearly stated up front items they would not be able to move for liability reasons (the gas tank to our propane grill and some aerosol cans). They ran a little late due to unexpected traffic and weather, but called to make sure I knew they were on the way and how far they were. (They don't start billing until they arrive on-site.) Annette and Brian were *very* fast getting the rest of our house packed. Everything was well padded, and I haven't found any damage to any possessions. They started by asking if anything in our apartment shouldn't be packed. Before and during, they pointed out items that might not travel well and gave us the option to transport those items ourselves or having them pack them as best they could (and pointed out when it would be pricey to ask them to pack it for us). At the end, they did a walk-through with us so that we could all be sure that everything had been packed. The next day, Tim and Jason arrived. I grew up in a military family, so I've seen lots of movers across the country, but never ones that worked as hard as these two. Again, only 2 movers, but they worked *fast*. $79/hour (plus a flat 1 hour fuel/trip fee which was disclosed up-front) included 2 movers and their company's truck. They moved all of our stuff and unhooked our washer/dryer. (They can't hook them up at the new place, again for insurance reasons, but that was spelled out up front, and they offered to let us use their tools, as well as re-positioning the appliances without damaging our hardwood floor.) When we arrived at the new house, they asked for a quick tour to get a layout, with what furniture would go in each room so they could figure out the best places to put boxes. It had snowed the 2 days before, but they put down *lots* of mats and runners so our carpets were untouched. They also confirmed where each set of boxes and piece of furniture was going to be sure it was right. Once everything was in, they double-checked to make sure we didn't want them to adjust any furniture or move more boxes. They worked really hard, and didn't even sit down to rest. This was a really difficult move, but using Your Personal Mover made it *much* easier. I only wish I had called them earlier. They packed at least half of our 1200 square foot apartment in 2 hours, and moved everything into the new place in 4 hours (local move). I thought I was being smart by giving myself an extra 3 weeks to pack things myself to "save money", but if I had just hire them to move my things the first week, I would have been able to hire a cleaning service for the apartment and still come out slightly ahead in saved rent! (not counting all that time I spent exhausted and all the stress). I've definitely learned my lesson and shared this with my friends and co-workers (along with the number for Your Personal Mover). I'll never do my own packing again! They are also pretty flexible on working with you. If you want to rent your own truck, they will load and unload it for you. If you have your own boxes, tape, bubble rap, etc, they will also use that instead of trying to bill you for it like I have seen some other companies do. They did do another thing I've never seen before: they lent us some wardrobe boxes. Since they were unpacked before the truck was done unloading, they didn't charge us to use their wardrobe boxes for transport.

It took them about 4 hours, which is what they originally estimated. They were very friendly and worked the entire time they were there. I also thought their prices were good and I would probably use them again in the future if needed.

I called them only a few days in advance, and was lucky enough to be able to reserve them for the dates I needed (Note: DO NOT make the mistake I did and interpret this happy circumstance to mean that you too can wait till the last minute to book your movers - I was in a panic!). Anita personally packed my belongings, along with another woman they hire to help pack when needed. The movers, though, were all regular employees, and they were great. The final bill came in right on the estimate, which I felt was very reasonable. (Note that since my stuff was moved into storage, I have not yet unpacked and seen my items, However, based on what I saw during the move, I feel very comfortable that my possessions will be in good condition when I do unpack.) I plan to use Your Personal Mover again when it is time to move into my new house.

I called them on a Friday, They came on Tuesday. Their price was clear and fair. They sent two nice guys, and moved everything much faster than I thought. I will recommend them.

It went very, very well. They were prompt, reliable and they weren't the cheapest but they did a good job for us.

The experience was really good. The guys who did it were more professional than the previous movers that I had. They were conscious of where I wanted things put and how I wanted things packed. The pricing was more straight forward than other places.
