Description of Work: We arranged for two gentlemen from this company to assist in loading a truck from a storage unit. They were prompt and courteous, packing the truck in record time. We were very pleased and will contact the company again for our permanent move.

Description of Work: Moved from my townhouse to a new house on Saturday. The guys were there a few minutes early and would have been even earlier if not for a road closed due to construction. Matt, John, and Andy were fantastic! They got to work immediately and never stopped moving. They were very careful yet efficient. Most of my stuff was pretty durable but I had a dining room table that was of some value and they treated all of my belongings as if they were as important as the table. It took a little longer than the estimated time but that was not their fault. They moved constantly. I highly recommend this company from my experience. I would have to make something up if they asked for the worst part of the experience because there was nothing to complain about.

Description of Work: The movers arrived early, transferred a piano and various boxes and some furniture pieces to storage, for my daughter and myself. They were courteous and followed directions willingly, when asked to move items in a certain way, to my daughter's satisfaction. They were careful with the piano which has been in my family for almost 70 years. They had a good attitude and handled the move in a professional manner. I would recommend these movers to anyone.

Description of Work: I recently retired and decided to downsize from a single family home to a condo. I had absolutely no experience in finding a company to move me, so turned to various internet rating sites to get some ideas. Came across Your Personal Mover and thought their ratings were above average, so I gave them a call. I expected at least some red tape and perhaps some delay before I heard from them. I was pleasantly surprised to have the call answered by Annette, one of the owners (which is getting to be a rare occurrence - imagine, a real person). She was very nice and extremely helpful. I worked with her and Brian to get an estimate scheduled, again expecting at least time conflicts. They were very flexible and worked it into my schedule, at my convenience. They gave me some helpful advice as to the ins and outs of packing up a lifetime of belongings as well as organizations to contact about donations who would pick up instead of my having to deliver. As the day of the move approached, I begin to get more and more nervous. I kept thinking of things that could go wrong and remembering less than positive moving experiences I have heard about from friends. I should have saved my energy. Moving day arrived and the crew showed up on time and I swear eager to make the day be as smooth as possible. I was very impressed with their handling of my belongings. They were quick, organized but very careful. Due to a miscommunication on my part, there a was question about the billed time. Brian not only called me, but came out the same day to get everything taken care of. Granted, I had never utilized the services of a mover before, but can't imagine a better company to take care my situation. I have worked in customer service and training for many years and Your Personal Mover embodies all the positive attributes necessary for a successful business. From my first contact with Annette to waving goodby to the crew on move day, I couldn't be happier or more satisfied. Their professionalism, attention to detail and customer service is to be commended. It was the highest quality and they really deserve an A+. I highly recommend the company and with be sure my friends and family know how I feel.

Description of Work: Moved everything from a 2 bedroom, 1 loft home to a 3rd floor, 2 bedroom apartment. We did all the packing and had everything ready to be moved when they showed up. They moved all furniture and washer/dryer from basement.
