The estimator was on time. The painting crew was on time each of the three days of the job and their supervisor was great in asking me specific questions about what needed painting and had very helpful suggestions to make my new condo looks spectacular. They were tidy and for the life of me, I can't find one drip anywhere. In addition to being professional and excellent painters, they are friendly and accommodating to any change orders you may have. I would highly recommend them.

THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND WENT TO WORK- EVERYONE WAS PROFESSIONAL, VERY FRIENDLY AND NICE TO WORK WITH AND HAVE IN THE HOME- I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN!

Bryan showed up promptly at our scheduled appointment time. He got me a bid a few minutes after surveying the job and I was very pleased with the amount. I have to admit that I've never dealt with painting contractors before, but after seeing the bid and hearing that they could pound this job out in 1.5 days, I seriously wondered why I sent two weeks of my own time and about $2000 of my money to start this job in the first place. After seeing Tall Pines in action, it only reconfirms that I might have been better off having them do the job from the start! The start date did fluctuate a bit, but it was due to the extreme Spring weather we've had in the western suburbs. The rain and humidity have complicated painting efforts, so I completely understand. Regardless, they gave me a two day starting window and when I told them that I had a work trip planned for the second day of the job, Bryan rearranged his schedule and started a day earlier so that they would avoid my business trip and I could monitor the project. Aaren, the Vice President, of Tall Pines showed up promptly at 8AM for the first day of the job. His crew was there too, and they walked through the entire project with me; making sure everyone was on the same page. Aaren left the project in the hands of Jose and two others, who did a great job asking me questions and working diligently throughout the day. They worked hard and I monitored their quality and progress throughout the day. They even answered my questions about painting tricks and tips! They were great and Jose was wonderful at communicating their progress and any questions that came up. I couldn't have been more impressed! Aaren showed up a couple of times during the first day and made sure the things were going smoothly. On the start of the second day, Aaren showed up went over the progress with me. He pointed out the wall repair from the old toilet paper holder which I had totally forgotten about and had the crew repair the way and repaint the surface. I honestly consider this a BONUS because it was left off the original bid because I wasn't sure it really needed to be repaired. Aaren checked all the work and even grabbed the paintbrush and did a bit of touch up. Once clean-up was completed and the crew had packed up, I shook each of their hands and Aaren and I settled up with my credit card. I even appreciated the fact that he sent me an electronic receipt from his iPhone credit card reader! All told, this was a WONDERFUL experience and I will gladly recommend Tall Pine's services to all my friends! Would I use them again? If I wise up and realize that it's worth my time and money to contract painting out to professionals, they will be the first ones I call!!!

I have used Tall Pines previously for interior painting and been equally as satisfied as with this recent engagement. Bryan and his partner Aaren are friendly, professional and have a top notch crew working for them. I recommend them without reservation!

I went to the website for Tall Pines and put in my info requesting an estimate. Within 2 hrs they had called to make an appt to come out to give us an estimate. They were right on time and sent us the estimate the next day as they said they would. I gave them 3 dates that I would have liked the work performed and they came on the first date requested. They finished the job in one day as they said they would. My husband was home for the day and told me that they took their shoes off when they came in and they covered all the carpet with plastic and the young men doing the work were very nice. The painting and trim work was perfect! I am very particular and they passed with flying colors! I requested quotes online from 2 other companies. One called to schedule an estimate appt two weeks down the road. This was not a good start for them. They then called back to change it. I ended up cancelling with them altogether before I got the quote at all. My husband was very impressed with Bryan at Tall Pines and we decided to go with him with no other estimates. We are very pleased with their work and feel like we definitely got our moneys worth.

The estimate made us look at our priority of exterior or interior space for eventual sale of the house. Knowing that the kitchen and bathroom still had to be updated, we opted for interior work this year. We'll definitely call Bryan for ANY future interior or exterior painting as the quality and professionalism is evident.

The crew did a great job and was punctual and professional. The prep was well done and the paint job was meticulous. They covered my newly done hardwood floors and were very careful of everything in the house. The sewer backed up while they were there (not their fault) and the crew cleaned up the mess, including taking home two rugs to wash and bring back the next day.

They did a terrific job from estimate to completion. Bryan Kelley, the company President, made an appointment with us for an estimate and showed up right on time. He spent a fair amount of time looking the house over, asked questions, answered our questions, and went over what was included and the products they used and their warranty. It was my idea to have some of the trim boards replaced with composite and Bryan included an estimate for this work. We also had a problem with some exterior corners of fascia which had started to separate. Bryan suggested some corner brackets he had seen used to solve the problem. I was impressed with the company from that first contact. We considered the estimate for a couple of days before accepting. The estimate seemed very fair, and the company had such a good rating and recommendations on Angie's List that we were comfortable with not getting more estimates. Bryan called in about a week to schedule Trent to come out and powerwash the house, replace the trim we had discussed, and put on the fascia corner brackets. Trent showed up when expected and did an excellent job. He powerwashed, replaced the trim, and installed the brackets on every fascia corner we had on the house, even ones that had not started to separate. Then we had a weather delay for a couple of days before the crew could start prepping and painting. Aaren was the project manager and Sean was the crew leader. Aaren came the first day to introduce his crew and then stopped by each day to check that the job was going ok. He even helped out on the last day so they could get finish on time. They took the necessary time and effort with the scraping, sanding, caulking, and priming to have everything right before painting. You could tell they believed in doing a quality job. It took a day longer than we expected because more prep than anticipated was needed weather issues. When we have other painting needs, we would use Tall Pines. They cleaned up the yard every day, stored their tools and materials in a trailer, and didn't get any paint on our new windows or anywhere else it wasn't supposed to be. They left us some extra paint in both the trim and base colors in case I needed some in the future. Aaren called back just today to see if we were happy, and as I told him, we couldn't be happier with the job they did. I don't think you can find a better painting company.

Everything went great. Bryan was excellent. I will use them again and I would highly recommend him to others.

They were really nice people. I felt very comfortable with them. They were very accomodating during the project. Overall, the service went well.

We were very pleased with our experience with Tall Pines. Bryan was very professional and responsive to our needs. The painters were on time and considerate with our home and belongings.

Due to the competitiveness and a substantial home show discount by another contractor, Tall Pines was not chosen for this job. However, I will definitely consider using Tall Pines next time and would highly recommend this company to others.

Tall Pines is the best painting company I have ever worked with. They are punctual, professional, and they do really great work. They showed up on time to give me an estimate, and the estimate was the actual cost. They were flexible on schedule when I had to postpone the work. The billing process was smooth. Tall Pines takes the time to caulk every line along the floor or ceiling. I don't mind doing my own painting, but they do such a better job, I had them touch-up some work I had done. They made a mistake and they MADE IT RIGHT. They accidentally used flat paint when they painted our master bath. When I pointed this out, they apologized and came back out and re-painted it in glossy paint, which is appopriate in a wet environment. No extra charge. All of the employees are very nice. I was so happy with the interior painting that I had them paint the exterior as well. See my other report above.

It was wonderful. The team was very kind and friendly. I have a lot of antiques and china and there were extremely careful with everything, very clean and tidy. As a matter of fact, when I commented that they had left a bag of garbage in the back yard, they took some money off the bill! Was no need, but it showed me how much they care about doing a good job and having a good reputation.

Bryan and his team are awesome! Always on time, very fast at what they do, trustworthy to be in my home while I am away, easy to get in touch with, flawelss work! I will always refer them to work for my friends!

Exceptional work on all counts. The team was punctual, professional, very personable and considerate. The work was completed in 3 days. I am very happy with the results and Bryan and his gang did a great job of cleanup too. Also while they were here they saw that one of my gutters was clogged with leaves. The guys got on their ladders at the end of a long day of painting and cleaned that gutter out for me too....they even swept and bagged up all the leaves!! Great bunch of guys to work with.

I was in a dispute with another contractor over the quality of the paint job that he did. Bryan came out to my property and took a look and showed me where the paint work done by the other contractor was lacking in quality. I was able to use this information and go back to the other contractor and get my money back. Unfortunately Bryan was booked through the remainder of the year and I had to get my house painted before the Winter and went with another contractor. Would definitely recommend Bryan though, I have seen some other homes in my neighborhood that he has done and they all look exceptional.

They are booked so I'll probably have to wait until Spring to have the work done. I really liked the gentleman who came out and I did sign the proposal for him to do the work. He did give me a discount since I was willing to wait until the spring. He presented a really nice package and explained exactly what they would do. They do a lot of work in this neighborhood. He's very responsive, he came out the day after I called him and he seemed to know what he was doing. I liked the information he gave me and the process which was two coats, doing all the caulk using 50 year caulk and he's insured. I just felt very comfortable with them.

Received a quote for $4200 to do $1200 worth of work. I had given this company a chance because they were noted on Angie's List as being a fair quoter even a low-cost provider. My insurance claim adjuster made a copy of this quote for their records because it was so outrageous. Needless to say, I had the work done by another painter.

FANTASTIC! This probably the best experience I've have with contractors. I'm very picky. Bryan and his crew exceed my expectations. I told Bryan they did a better job than I could do. Which is my highest compliment. The paint lines were straight, the were no drips or overspray. His price was not the cheapest but the work was worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Their protection of my carpets and hardwood floors was superb! They cleaned up each day meticulously, and all work was done according to the estimate and completely on schedule! I would highly recommend them for interior painting. They were pleasant and friendly, on time, completely responsive to my needs, and they were true to their estimate.

Tall Pines did an excellent job. They thoroughly prepped all surfaces and did a great job painting. They were very professional and cleaned up each day. Bryan even checked back with me a few days after the project was completed to make sure there were no spots that needed any touching up. I have already recommended them to several people and will definitely hire them again!

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor and his crew!!! Bryan worked with us go select the appropriate products and colors, kept in touch with us about the progress, continually touched base with us during the project to be sure our expectations were met, and met with his crew at our site every day to be sure all was going well. His crew was remarkable--they were pleasant, worked extremely hard throughout the day, took great pride in their work and were a joy to have working on the house! I will use Tall Pines again for any painting project I have!
