Seed Sprayers

We called a few companies but got the best sense of care and attention to detail from Brian Bicknell at SeedSprayers. He came out within the week to give us an estimate and I was surprised at how much less it cost than I thought it would. We scheduled a date when I knew we would have all the weeds removed and ground prepped and Brian showed up with his rig. We wanted a specialized seed mix to give us a "no-mow" grass. Brian did the research and showed up with the exact mix. For a portion of the yard, I wanted to add wildflowers into the mix and Brian was able to do just that! The hydroseed spray is a mix of wood mulch (that disintegrates), seed, glue and a green dye so you can see immediately where it has been sprayed. It lasted a week or so, making it look like instant grass. The grass has come in nicely and we are so delighted at the lushness of it. There were a few areas where we had some drainage issues and the grass did not take, but Brian came back about 6 weeks later a re-sprayed those areas. I will post some photos when I get a chance as I think most people would be surprised to know we grew our lawn from seed! Just know that success comes from good preparation, so prep the yard before scheduling the hydroseeding. I highly recommend Brian & SeedSprayers for a new lawn or even overseeding an old one.
