Arbaney Hardwood Flooring did an excellent job refinishing our original hardwood floors. The quote Mr. Arbaney gave us was timely and very well priced. The men who did the labor worked hard to do their best. They arrived on time, or I was given notice ahead of time to expect a delay in their arrival. They kept to the schedule until the job was completed. I would be happy to recommend them.

I hired Arbaney Custom Hardwood Flooring to repair hardwood flooring damaged by a water leak in the kitchen in May 2020. They said that it was impossible to match the finish on the repair to the rest of the flooring in the house and we would need to repair and refinish the kitchen floor and refinish the rest of the flooring in the house. We hired them to do the job. The refinish in the rest of the house was good, however, the repair and refinishing of the kitchen was terrible. They had promised that they would remove the quarter round and hide the seam of a board that needed to be replaced under the quarter round and that they would hide the other end of the replaced board under the overhang of a cabinet. They did neither resulting in an obvious patch with a short section about 3 replaced. Additionally, warped boards which they said could be sanded flat at still visibly warped. I reviewing the work with Arbaney, they agreed the work was subpar and said they would return to put things right when they had a chance but were booked tight at the moment. It is now 7 months that I waited for them to fix the problem and all I have gotten is we will get to it soon. Finally gave up on them and had to hire another firm to fix the problem. Given this, all started as an effort to fix water damaged floor in the kitchen, and this is still not done after $7K of work, and that I have had to hire another firm to fix problem its hard to recommend these people.

The work was performed timely and I'm extremely pleased with the results.

They did excellent work- just one problem came up - three dark spots occurred where they had not appeared to be previously. I understand there might not have been a remedy but it would have been better for these to be addressed during the process when they first occurred rather than later when any solution would be much more difficult.

Brian was great to work with and did an excellent job

We hired Brian to lay custom hardwood floors, he talked us into custom saying that we would get a tighter fit between boards as I did not like the bevel found on many store-bought, engineered boards. It has been over a year and we have so many large gaps between boards measuring between 1/8 and 1/2 inch! His only fix was to fill the gaps, and never took responsibility that maybe they were not installed properly!!! And he wanted to charge us additionally for the refinishing after he filled the gaps. To be honest, I am not sure how people (Brian) sleeps at night knowing that they did not do their very best. Very! We spent over $16,000 for 1200 square feet, maybe plan to spend a bit more and get an awesome job! Otherwise, do not waste your time!
