JR installed a wooden railing on the side of my outdoor stairs that didnâ t have one. It was a straightforward functional solution to the problem and will make the stairs safe. Structurally it works; aesthetically it doesnâ t exactly match the other side. I donâ t care about that. More time and money would have been required for that. This company met my needs very well and the response was timely. Would hire again and recommend with the small caveat.

My front door wasnâ t working properly and I found RJ on Angie list, he reached out to me immediately and was super professional on the phone and in person .He fixed my door while explaining the entire process, once he was done he cleaned up his mess. I am very pleased with his work and will definitely be calling him for future repairs.

I have used Home Advisor for many years and had very good results. Yesterday was a terrible experience. I was shocked when the service was complete knowing that Home Advisor had recommended this company. The contractor name is: On Demand Contracting 7123 Shavano Circle Frederick, CO 80504 I am 73 years old and had just completed renovating my bedroom bathroom shower. I had ordered and received glass doors, but with the weight of the doors I thought it would be better for someone else to hang them. The contractors arrived at 7:00 am. The first thing they did was look at the parts and the instructions. After 2 ½ hours they still had not started the installation. They were still reading the instructions. They then started to assemble the door outside of the shower to fit the pieces together. After they had been working for 4 hours I went to inspect the progress. It was nearly assembled in the living room, but they had assembled the doors backwards. They had assembled the doors so that when water ran it had a 1 ½ gap in the middle between the two doors where water would just flow out. I brought this to their attention and they then spent the next 45 minutes redoing the work. They then told me that pieces were missing so they had nothing to cover two of the ½ holes in the glass. I went to the box they were working from and found the pieces in plain view. They did not bring porcelain drill bit so had to leave for 45 minutes to purchase one. They continued to be confused about how parts fit. They finally completed the job after 8 HOURS! The doors look nice, but this should easily have been a two hour job. I have enclosed pictures to show just how simple this project was. For the entire installation they needed to drill two holes in the walls to hang the rod and 3 to 4 holes to hold the base track. It is unbelievable to me that it took them that much time for such a simple installation. I could easily have completed the installation in 2 or so hours, but did not feel comfortable lifting the glass doors. When I talked to them the night before they said the job would probably take a couple of hours. I did not ask them for a quote in advance because that was a reasonable amount of time and I have always had good luck with businesses that Home Advisor recommends. I expected a bill for $200 to $300 for this installation. They then handed me a bill for $1,053.00! That is outrageous for this project. It was a painful day for me to see them continually stumble with the installation and I was shocked when they handed me the bill. They do not appear to be skilled handymen. I would not recommend them for any job and I certainly will never use this company again. I do take some of the blame because I did not check further on them. They are not on the internet and the business appears to be out of their house. I will in the future I will do more research, but this is the first time I have had a bad recommendation from Home Advisor. I put a review in, but forgot to add the pictures.
