Thru His Hands

We agreed on a final contractor fee of $3,000.00, with us doing our own demo. The original start date was July 6th, and we finished demo several days before this. Marty contacted us and let us know a delay was necessary. We agreed on a start date of July 13th. Then he contacted us and let us know it would be further delayed. After approx. 10 days, we attempted to contact him several times via e-mail and telephone messages. He simply never returned our e-mails or calls. We contacted a subcontractor he was using for the plumbing and he eventually was able to contact Marty. According to the subcontractor Marty stated he was not going to do our renovation. The exact reasoning is unknown, as Marty has never contacted us and told us why. Now, it is July 28th and we are scrambling to find other contractors. All of this information is in e-mails between Marty and us.
