I used to work for On-Site Restoration. So, now that I don't work there, I feel as though I should address Mr. Sizemore's complaints about the company. I'm not sure why he bothered to file a report on Angie's List. It is inaccurate. On-Site never "padded" the estimate. Mr. Sizemore chose to NOT have the work completed because he wanted to keep some of the insurance money so he could use it elsewhere. It's been a while ago but it had something to do with his mother. He was refunded $800ish. Taking insurance money and using it for something other than what it was intended for is Fraud, Mr. Sizemore. As for the company, they do great work. As with any business, you will always have one customer who is unsatisfied no matter what. It's unfortunate that the only customer to write a review was the one customer that was unhappy. But I wouldn't take his recommendation seriously. On-Site Restoration performs hundreds of jobs per year and 99% of those customer's are happy with their work. As far as using subcontractor's, well, that's what a General Contractor does. They hire the best drywallers, carpet installers, etc. Using subs instead of regular employee's help to keep costs down. Also, when something happens to your home, your own insurance adjuster is supposed to prepare the estimate. On occasion, On-Site will write the estimate for the adjuster under special circumstances . They always go by the adjuster's estimate and they do not charge a dime more. They do not and will not nickle and dime their customers. On-Site uses the same estimating software that most insurance companies use. They believe in providing the customer with the very best service and quality work at a reasonable price. And that will bring customer's back or generate word of mouth referrals. And it does. Again, I no longer work for this company and I am NOT being paid to post this. I've wanted to post since I first saw Mr. Sizemore's post months ago. I'm posting because I believe in the quality work On-Site provides and I would hate to see their business suffer based on Mr. Sizemore's bogus review. Thanks for reading! I hope you'll give these guys a chance to prove it to you.
Description of Work: Hole in basement wall. Never in a million years did I think they could match that texture but they did. Can't tell at all there was ever a hole there. Awesome!

The company sub contracted out all the work except for the drying machines usage. They sent an estimate to my insurance company andinitially didn't give me a copy of this estimate. I found out why - THEY 'PADDED' THE ESTIMATE FOR APPROX. $1400.00 MORE WORK THAN WAS NEEDED!! THIS IS INSURANCE FRAUD! I got a copy of the extimate sent to me from the insurance company, and called On Site Rest. and told them they lied, and fraudulently padded their estimate to include work not needed. They refunded my money and said, they "were real sorry". That does nothing to help their integrity or ethics. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
