Alice and Scott are seasoned professionals whom we trust and rely on. They make beautiful cabinets! Interior woodwork is their specialty, and they do that with skill and pride. They also embrace a wide variety of handyman type jobs. We came to them with an assortment of odd job requests. They would tell us their limitations and offer honest opinions about the best approach. They sometimes rearranged their work schedule to meet the needs of other contractors. They returned to make adjustments with small matters we questioned. They went above and beyond. And they were always pleasant to work with.

Stunning results! Cost a little more than other "closet design" bid I received, however that bid was for melamine, prefab construction. I received custom work,with Hucks Trimm, handcrafted in Alder wood, and hand finished/stained to match my wood flooring in this small bed room. The oversized drawers (two 4" deep and four 10" deep) go all the way to the depth of the closet space, are on rollers and so very sturdy and safe. More organized storage as well as closet space allows less furniture needed when this bedroom is used for a toddler giving much more space to play as well as a future guest room will only need single be and night stand. .

Horrible, waste of my time and hope!

This is the third project I used Alice Hutchins and Scott Watson for as I was so very impressed with the other two projects; Custom wood railing for the kitchen and stairs and new kitchen cabinet and drawers added to expanded space..The kitchen cabinets were an exact match to the existing cabinets as where the pull out drawers. The railings were sanded smooth as glass, stained an exact match to the wood flooring, and custom fit to the odd size and shape of the room and stairs. This current project (built in dresser and closet redo) was a brilliant piece of work, accomodating the electrical outlets and the not so level wall/flooring. The built-in is designed, sanded and stained so beautifully it is exactly as I envisioned. Alice and Scott are a wouderful team to work with. Their estimates are comparable and often a little less than others. Each piece is built primarily in their shop and they use top quality custom stains and varnish. They are on target when they tell you when the project will be completed and their installation always goes smoothly. They also do a great job of cleaning up when done. None of my projects have been urgent so I have no concerns waiting a few weeks for the wood order, building, sanding, staining, drying and installation. It is worth the time and money to have such great custom quality additions to my home.
