Northern Lights Exteriors did an outstanding job with our entire (large) project from start to finish. The work they provided included complete window replacement, and exterior siding, trim, soffits & facia on our main house as well as a small cottage/guest house and full gutter replacement. The original siding was installed 30 years ago and was in sad shape - and underneath there was a lot of the old celotex sheathing. We contracted with NLE to replace the old siding with James Hardie materials (lap siding and a small amount of board & batten over the third-floor attic spaces), replace the celotex with a structural sheathing and upgrade the wall insulation. The entire project seemed daunting to us, but NLE handled every aspect with ease, professionalism, outstanding customer service and communication. To say that we are extremely pleased would in itself be a great understatement. Technically, all of the crews (windows, siding, gutters) did an excellent job with a very high level of attention to detail and all of the finishing touches you hope you will see at job completion. Far from just trying to "get the work done to get to the next job", they worked diligently to make our home and property truly stand out and beautiful. Despite several days in the mid-90’s, the crews seemed to handle it with ease. The office staff was very helpful for all aspects of early planning, change orders (which were all handled with ease), payments, and general communication with scheduling and answering questions. Jeff, Mack and Cesar were all super to work with! Other reviews commented on NLE's excellent communication with the customer - to which we heartily agree. Beyond that though, I saw excellent communication from the project managers to the crew leads and to each of the crew members. Having worked with a number of other contractors over the years, that communication from top to bottom is not something that I have always seen. We had a great sense of confidence that everyone involved from start to finish was on the same page. The results speak for themselves. THANK YOU NLE!!! Not just "another happy customer", but one who has no doubt that we made the right choice. Couldn't be happier!

Excellent customer service and no pressure sales! I originally got a quote 3 years prior and never once felt pressured to purchase. Jeff was amazing and a great salesman! He answered any and all questions and made multiple trips out to my house before I even signed. I got brand new siding and windows and my house looks amazing!

Our house looked beautiful after Northern Lights Exteriors replaced our siding, trim, and gutters. Lot of compliments from neighbors! The crew worked quickly but carefully, and was contentious about getting things right.

Great! They were upfront and honest about everything, gave us a good quote and updated us whenever anything changed. The work was done even quicker than we expected once the project started and they worked with us on any issue that came up. Literally the only nitpick was the communication could've been better about the precise start date, but everything else was good.

Went well overall. There were some issues during the project - but there always seem to be in any construction work. That said, Northern Lights was a great value for the money and did a great job.

From the person who answers the phone, to my project manager, the production manager that checked in on the progress of my build and the crews, to the production person Anna keeping me updated on material deliveries, etc. It was clear and so easy to work with this company.

Excellent job on replacing one section of siding and painting the house. We're running 2 weeks late on proposed time windows, but understand due to supply chain issues and backlog

Not only was the workmanship very high quality, the crew was tidy and courteous, and we received timely communication throughout the project. Northern Lights Exteriors went above and beyond when helping navigate my roof replacement. Jonathan was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, which is something you don't see with most contractors!! My neighbors were so impressed the entire street used Jonathan to help with their hail claim as well. They do more than just roofs so I'm already looking to schedule them for future renovations - my neighbor already has them coming back out to replace her old siding. High quality contractors are hard to come by these days - I'm so thankful to have found one of the best!

We had Northern Lights paint the exterior of our house and are very happy with the job! The whole process from meeting with Jonathan to the paint crew coming was very easy. They were very flexible even when we had a snafu with our HOA. When we experienced hail storms this year they came out to check the house and make sure there wasn't any damage and even inspected the roof to make sure it was still in great shape. Overall great company to work with!!

Jonathan & Cesar we’re both great PMs to work with during this large project. We are the DIY type, so we aren’t used to others doing the work for us. The three different project crews that arrived to do the work were very punctual, respectful & hard working. Would absolutely work with Northern Lights Exteriors again.

Later, Jonathan and Caesar did a preliminary walk-around to see if there were to be any problems to attend to. What I really appreciate is that the job started on time, the crew was punctual, and worked diligently the whole day. The job was professionally handled and communication was excellent. We re-did our siding through Northern Lights, and the whole team was amazing! They were professional, did high quality work, and completed the job in LESS time than expected. (That never happens!) The workers were all so nice and communicative too. Highly recommend.

We dealt with Mack. He was extremely friendly and responsive. We had 8 windows and a patio door replaced. The crew was incredible and friendly. They cleaned up after everything well. Our first night with the new windows in we had to turn down our AC because we were freezing!!! We also got our entire house painted. The workers were friendly but we felt like a lot of corners were cut during the process. We pointed out that underneath the lip of the lower half of the siding did not get a good layer of paint and we were told it’s no big deal and that it won’t do any damage. We are a little disappointed with that response and wish they would have just fixed it but we intend to go around and fix it ourselves with the left over paint. The colors are two completely different colors so it was easy to notice. Outside of that we had a wonderful experience with Mack and Northern Lights Exteriors.

NLE were great for our new siding project and I liked the fact that they were a local family owned business. There was a delay with the start date, but that wasn't their fault with the current supply chain management issues from the supplier with the pandemic. Jonathan was great and easy to work with! He was available for any questions I had and it was an enjoyable experiencing working with him. Freddy was the crew lead and they did such a quality job on the installation! I will be referring anyone that asks to go to NLE!!

Very well done, had to deal with a lot of weather issues. Very responsive and well informed throughout.
