 + -1 moreI found The Computer Guy online with great reviews. Everything went great. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient as I sat and asked all my questions. The Computer Guy explained what I could do to avoid viruses as well as gave me advice on buying a new computer when I plan to down the road. He gave me his card and said to feel free to call whenever I have little questions. Since the first visit I have had another computer fixed. The hard drive turned out to be failing, but Eddie was able to save my data and set me up with a backup system to prevent future data loss. He installed a new kind of hard drive called SSD. I can't believe the difference! The computer is faster than it has ever been. It has no hesitation at all. I was thinking it was time to throw that computer away, but now it works great. I have found a new computer guy!
Description of Work: I brought my computer to Eddie because it was running slow and had tons of popups. He fixed my computer and installed a good anti-virus on the same day. I had it back by 5pm.

 + -1 moreReplaced hard drive with solid state and converted from Window's Vista to Windows 7. Assisted in downloading previous programs and helped recover all files. Very available by cell phone to answer additional questions as required concerning browser and printer issues. I fell more comfortable having a local guy to answer any future computer questions I might have. Being an old EE, I thought I was reasonably PC literate until this problem occurred. Taxes done!
Description of Work: Troubleshot, repaired, rebuilt and helped me in recovering all of my files on an older PC while that crashed during my tax preparation. Also provides Senior discount on services.
