R & H HEATING & AIR COND

We were looking to replace furnace, hot water heater and install air conditioning. We asked several Fort Collins companies for bids and most just dropped off their brochure, but R & H was the only company willing to send someone over to talk to us about their services and since there were rebates we needed someone to explain how it all worked. They were very respectful and full of information so guess who we had do the work. That's right...customer service won out!!!

Didn't show up to perform install for our AC and furnace when they said they would. Called 1 1/2 hours later to say they wouldn't be there at all that day.

R&H is the contractor for the Excel Energy Homesmart program. When my boiler had a problem they came out and checked out the problem and said they wanted close to $2,000 for a repair but seemed more interested in selling a new one for about $8,000. I called another contractor based on a lot of very positive reviews from A.L. members. They did the repair for $700 and were very comfortable with the condition of the boiler thereafter. Now it needs another lesser repair but they condemned the boiler and Homesmart will not cover another repair. I think overall cost me over $1,000 for paying out of pocket when I had being paying monthly for years for the coverage.Homesmart paid for the original service call so I'm not sure what the bill was
