Description of Work: Curt Nelson came in to our home listened to what we wanted. He had so many ideas, along the way, during planning and design process. Once our design was decided upon, and signed off on, Curt set up meeting with the cabinet maker for us to choose the design, wood type, colors, etc. He brought tile samples, wood samples, etc. to our home to help us choose our new decor. He even took us to a new home he had built, so we could look at a completed hardwood floor and have a better idea of what our completed floor would look like. The old area was demolished out to the outer walls and every aspect of building the new area began. We had to have a gas line installed for my new gas stove. Electric was replaced. All appliances where going to be in new location in addition to new lighting. A water line was installed for the new refrigerator. The walls and ceilings were re textured. The structure of the kitchen was completely different. We were putting in double wall ovens, and a large island with a gas cook top with a stainless and glass, free hanging range hood. The island had a bar on the opposite side of the gas cook top, granite counter tops throughout, and hanging light pendants over the new bar. The back splashes were tiled with decorative glass tiles, recessed lights, and a hanging pendant over the dining area. I had an idea for a built in china hutch, and Curt designed it for me: a wall of base cabinets topped with granite, and hanging cabinets with doors of glass; in addition to, the rest of the kitchen cabinets. The china cabinet had feature lights installed. The kitchen cabinets had under lights installed. The new living room has a built in shelving unit that also had feature lights installed to hi light art work, etc. A new wood and wrought iron railing was built. A small set of stairs was rebuilt, new hand rails installed, new closet door were installed. New walls were built, the window seals were replaced. The flooring was replaced with exquisite hard wood! Curt was very flexible with us as the job progressed. Our home is a tri-level. The remodel was the main area when you open the front door: living room, kitchen, and dinning room. You look right down in to the family room. Once the remodel was coming along, the family room looked horrible and outdated against the remodel. We now wanted the family room remodeled as well. This included building a wall of book cases on either side of a fire place. The old wood fireplace had a new gas insert added, which included adding a new gas line, and a new fireplace mantel. We installed ceilings lights, re texturing the walls and ceilings, new doors and new baseboard. There was numerous decorative painting projects done as well.

Description of Work: Curt has done work for us on two different homes we have owned. He has installed hardwood floors, laminate, ceramic tile on the floors, as well as two bathroom remodels, a complete kitchen remodel and partial finishing of our basement, which included a bathroom. He has also engaged other contractors to complete other various work, including gas fireplace, HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
