The first call to the company went to their answering machine and I left a message. No call back after a couple of days, so I called again; the call was answered and an appt for an estimate was scheduled within 2 days. Mike was on time for the day of the appointment but unfortunately the tree was too large for their equipment. Mike stated that they worked with another tree company and that he'd have that company call me. After 4 days I called another tree company and it has been 8 days and still no call but at least the other company could do the work. Mike may have called the other company and the other company dropped the ball. I appreciate the promptness with respect to the estimate but a follow up to say that they had contacted the other tree company or that they could not get a hold of the other company would have allowed me to get my job completed faster. I appreciate the fact that all can stumble a bit or that the fault could be the other company, and graded accordingly.

The experience was good. I've used them before.

I had several tree stumps in my backyard which I wanted ground out. Lumber Jack and Jill was quick to provide a very competitive bid and quick to do the work. They were a pleasure to work with.

Initial contact was prompt. The time for the removal was not met, but on calling them I found that they had equipment problems and we set a new date what was meant. I was away at the time the crew arrived but the job was complete as contracted and I could see no remains of what they had done other than the tree was gone. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them.

Lumber Jack and Jill was easy to work with and they performed the work as agreed. They were punctual, and they did an excellent job of cleaning up the yard when they finished the pruning. They were able to schedule the job quickly rather than making us wait several weeks. Our sons enjoyed watching them climb the tree from the windows.

They always do a fantastic job. Everything looks so much better now! They trimmed several trees and cleared out a lot of scraggly saplings that shouldn't have been there. They are fast and dependable.

When I first contacted Jack and Jill, they scheduled an appointment to come out and give me an estimate of the work. They arrived on time for the appointment, did a thorough evaluation of all of my trees, and left the estimate on my front door. After reviewing th estimate, I contacted them to schedule the appointment to have the work done. Again, they arrived on time and worked very hard to get the trees in the best condition, even going so far as to scale into the top branches of a smaller tree. After they finished, the trees look a lot better. I expect that they will grow healthier over the next couple of years, but Jack and Jill also recommended that I have them come back out in two years to be sure the growth has improved.

They were not only professional and courteous--they were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to do what it took to ensure the best possible service. Because they noticed that fruit trees were budding out early in Spring, 2012, they came three weeks earlier than scheduled to prune our fruit trees to maintain optimal health for our trees. They did this in spite of the fact that they were having an exceptionally busy season due to the major storm damage left from the previous Fall. When they returned to prune the remaining trees, they still spent plenty of time doing an excellent job. I highly recommend them!

This is the third time Emily and Mike have gotten trees back into shape for me. They are always on time, very professional, and do a wonderful job. I don't bother calling anyone else now.

Jack and Jill Tree Service showed up on time to provide an estimate and later to do the work. Two people worked all morning trimming the tree. After lunch a third person joined the crew to help with the cleanup. The tree looks gorgeous! I am no longer worried about branches falling on the roof. All the debris was removed. The tree is happy with Jack and Jill's work and so am I.

We had a unique problem that would be best handled by people who were familiar with trees. We had a squirrel house that needed to be put back up in the tree. At my age I don't bounce as well as I used to. They were perfectly happy to take care of the problem. They were familiar with trees and comfortable with climbing, and had insurance. I thought that was a good, safe option. They did an excellent job, and the squirrels are happy with it. I would call them again if I needed tree work done. It was well worth the cost, to stay out of the emergency room. They were very professional. They arrived when the said they would, and did the job exactly as we asked.

In November we had a horrendous very very heavy wet snow storm. Branches broke off our back tree. They've been communicating with us. The day they came out they couldnt get everything done because it was a good foot of snow and 23 degrees. But they got out there and they worked really hard.

They came and talked to my husband personally rather than just leaving an estimate in the door and that's' what we wanted. They seemed very professional but they seemed little expensive.

They were prompt with estimate. Work was done while we were not home, but came home to a neat, completed job. Cost was within estimate and done properly.

Contacted them, got an estimate which was slightly below others. They did the work on the day that they said, removed the removed material and cleaned the gutters as a free service in lieu of a $20 discount. Our experience with them was in every way satisfactory.

The office staff person/ scheduler was very friendly and helpful in explaining the process for having trees diagnosed and then treated. The arborist showed at the appointed time and date (their competing bid no showed) for the free estimate and was very professional and followed up well with questions I had that needed further research. The estimate was broken down into easy to understand steps and treatment for the trees was scheduled effortlessly. On the day of the appointment for the tree service, the treatment for the trees was carried out very professionally and "invisible" / non-disruptive to our daily routine. There was no mess or lack of treatment/ over treatment. All in all, we were very happy in how easily the whole process went and are looking forward to having Lumber Jack and Jill contiue care for all of our tree services.
