Lind's Plumbing & Heating has been a family owned and operated business since getting its start in 1984; evolving over the years from a small plumbing and heating company serving mostly residential projects, to a distinguished full-service plumbing and heating contractor in the Northern Colorado region. In 2006, Master Plumber Jeff Makepeace — employed by the company's founder, Robert Lind — purchased the company, and has worked tirelessly to develop long-term relationships with our customers all along the Front Range. Through these efforts, Jeff has brought the company to new heights by transforming Lind's Plumbing into a commercial plumbing and heating success while continuing to strengthen our residential and service departments. Despite its growth, the company has managed to maintain the personable feel of a small family-owned business while working competently with large and small general contractors, including local small-business owners and homeowners.

Description of Work: I chose not to use this business because they failed to provide the estimate for the service requested as they had promised. I called them six days after I was to have received the bid with the hope we may still be able to do business together. The bid was finally sent to me 2 days later than I was promised when I last called them.

Description of Work: I had a leaking outdoor faucet. The plumber came out and didn't try to upsell me, which was much appreciated. Instead, he replaced a small piece and also tightened the connections that started leaking in the basement once the water was turned on. He was helpful, professional and courteous and I'd use the company again.

Description of Work: They performed a "Combustion test" as required by the City building dept. I had replaced a hot water heater myself and, to be approved by the City, I needed a "Combustion test". I called several plumbers, none wanted anything to do with it, one hung up on me. Lind plumbing quoted me a firm price, showed up promptly (a little early even) and even called the City's permit dept. to find out exactly what the City was even wanting. Apparently the City doesn't communicate too well with the trades people. Too bad Angie's list doesn't rate city building depts. Because then I could give Fort Collins a C or D in this regard. Going on my experience with Lind plumbing I would definitely use them again. Also, I now know several I would never call.

House and plumbing is 56 years old. When the first repair (to replace washers) proved insufficient, they returned with the correct cartridges and replaced both. Adjustment was made due to need to return with correct parts.
Description of Work: First replaced a worn out part, then when that was insufficient, replaced cartridges in bathtub faucet.

.They were punctual, clear about everything and gave us options; they were very pleasant to work with.
Description of Work: A faucet in the bathroom sink of our newly purchased home stopped working. Lind's arrived as scheduled, investigated and explained the problem (the plastic threads on the interior of the faucet had failed) and installed the new faucet. It has worked beautifully every since. The money we spent included the work as well as the cost of the new faucet .

They will come out multiple times a month if need be. I have never had a problem with them. I also feel like they alwasy get the job done right. They are a small company that is very personable and easy to get ahold of. They give me a special price for having a contract with them which is very nice.
