Easy Seasons Grassworks

If I could have given them 20 stars, I would have. I began in April looking for a company for this job, and after four recommended companies came out and either never came back or came back with estimates and THEN never called back, and one was three times what we wanted to spend, I got the Easy Seasons recommendation or listing from Home Advisor. Ron was immediately responsive to my query, came out within three days to look at the project, in three or for more days, gave me estimates in three pieces for clarity, returned to our house three times to talk over the details, answer my continuous questions, and schedule. Because of my travel and their backed-up jobs, we settled on a late September date, which by mutual agreement, got pushed back to mid-October. At EVERY POINT, and this is one reason for a 20-star rating, Ron actually CALLED me, communicated any delays or arrangements or whatever. I told him he got gold stars JUST for his excellent communication. When his full crew of five men and all the equipment showed up two weeks ago, they knew what to do, got to work, and kept working all day, 5-1/2 days last week and the same this week. Dylan, the project manager, was competent, communicative, receptive to my questions and suggestions, as well as his own suggestions. We had demo, tilling, bringing in plant material, boulder placement, tons of shredded cedar mulch, laying down drip lines, checking my old sprinkler lines, installing flagstone areas, strip stone at the bottom of our hill, wider strip stone at the top of one large area so I would have a short wall as separation between planting area and lawn, etc. and anything else I asked them to do. Dylan also built a wonderful set of 15 stairs into place is going down my steep berm, and we used landscape timbers for it. It is absolutely beautiful and a great contrast to the mulch, the boulders, and the strip stone. I was being charged by the day, so when I added something small, they did not have to reinvent the estimate wheel. I knew I was and am paying by the day for whatever I needed. As long as it took, but they were no slackers. EVERYTHING was done with care. Clean up every day, really good employees. Can you tell that I cannot say enough good about this company? They will be back in the spring to plant some trees and larger shrubs, and I think I will hire them for big fall and spring shrub trimming, gutter clean out, leaf removal, etc. They are a #1 company!! Crew was efficient and competent.

We recently purchased a new home where the landscaping had not been touched since 1979. Easy Seasons was a dream to work with as we transformed our front and back yard into a highly desirable and functional family space. From hardscape to adding plants we did it all adding a new flagstone patio, fire pit area, dry stream bed, 30+ plants and new sod. Their team is polite, responsive, timely, and creative. We highly recommend them! Quality all around!

The team worked hard and did a great Spring clean-up of our multi-acre property. We have retained their mowing maintenance service and will absolutely use them again for bigger maintenenace jobs as well! Highly recommended!

Highly professional and simply the best.

Showing up on time, prompt and responsive email and 'phone communication are customer service features we value and they delivered. They did a good job removing obstacles, old lawn, and installing new sod. And, just as they promised, they brown sod seams I was concerned about turned green within the stated 3 weeks. The work crew also did a good job of cleaning up our driveway, walkways, and even the public street. To their credit, imo, when bidding on the job they offered a couple money saving ideas that 'we put to good use. They also did some extra work that wasn't specifically listed on the estimate at no extra charge. We are satisfied with the overall price and 'product' and would recommend this company.

They did a wonderful job regrading, reworking our drainage system and then replacing the gravel.

They cleaned up my backyard and put in river rock and some plants. I think they did a fine job. I do not have any experience with this kind of job; I think they did as expected, nothing exceptional. I did have problems with scheduling and contacting them.

They were able to remove our stumps despite embedded metal and they cleaned up the excess wood chips.

This is a great company to work with. Their communication before, during and after the project was excellent as was the work they did. The yard clean up, pruning, border repair and new mulch was completed on time by an exceptional crew and we could not be more delighted. I would highly recommend Easy Seasons Grassworks and plan to hire them for future projects.

Quick response to my request on HomeAdvisor. Owner showed up on time for the initial meeting about job, returned quote in a very timely manner. Very reasonably priced (we priced out two other companies) with options to consider outside of original request. At the time he was booked for the season but had an unexpected opening so fit us in early. Crew was friendly, courteous, quick and clean. VERY HAPPY with our landscaping - plan to hire Easy Seasons for future jobs!!

Very good communications through phone and email. Did a great job advising on what I really needed o do for the landscape project.

This company was hired to convert a lawn into a xeriscape. Their estimate was specific as to materials and labor costs. We were informed that at the beginning of work, a "50% materials deposit". When the contractor arrived, he wanted 50% of the total. I was OK with that, but when I asked why the instructions used the words "materials" if the total was meant, he lost his temper, threatened (and started) to leave and abandon work, and said I was going to be too hard to work with. I was shocked and truly concerned about working with him, but I wrote a check for the 50% and asked if he wanted to leave or accept the deposit. He accepted and calmed down. I never got an answer as to why the deposit was called a "50% materials" Anyone wanting to use this firm should be aware of the contractor's hair trigger temper The two hired workers were easy to work with, by comparison. The work was done satisfactorily, in general, but not of outstanding quality. The pricing seemed fair.

The project turned out absolutely beautiful! I had a lot of questions along the way and they were always so patient and helpful. Everyone was very professional, polite and courteous. I can't wait to use them again in the future to finish some additional projects!

This company is a top notch professional outfit. The Owner and his people are courteous, prompt and know what they are doing. They installed (Sodded) our front yard last week and surpassed all expectations for time it took(done in 3 days) and quality of workmanship. When they were done the yard looked great and the cleanup was as if they had never been working on the sodding. Great job and we highly recommend "Easy Seasons Grass works" of Fort Collins. Ron and Kathy were good to work with, communication and understanding of the job were good. Easy to work with via email and phone. This was important to us since we live 150 miles from the project. Everyone is happy with the results. The job involved removing lots of overgrown vegetation, leveling the ground, building a planter, and adding hardscrabble for the backyard.

Very professional. Had my whole yard rocked in for a very reasonable price and they even planted a tree for me for free. I would definitely used them again. On time, work done in a day, and communication was top notch.

We had a relatively small job, 2K...but this family team aims to please.Communication was frequent, work was above expectation and I couldn't be happier with the end result. Thank you Easy Seasons! After trying to contact several different landscaping companies in and around Fr. Collins, Ron and Kathy were the ONLY ones to call me back, and within 24 hours. From point of contact to completion of renovating my landscaping, which included a flagstone walkway, took only about a week. The total cost was actually less than I was expecting, and they did a tremendous job! My front and backyard look fantastic! I would recommend to anyone who needs new landscaping, or landscaping that just needs a touch up.
