Don's Keyway Lock & Safe

You can't do better! I am from out of state. When I went looking locksmiths I tried 5 locations that were nothing but a PO box type address. When I finally found Don's keyway, it was a real store but more than that it was a real good one. The general manager, Dave, is the one that actually cut my keys but Nolan gave him a hand. My situation was no keys available for an old camper shell on an old pickup. These guys are amazing. The prices was far better than I expected and I would have gladly paid two or three times that. They were fast, friendly, and did a great job. I highly recommend them and in fact I'll put my name on that. I'm Danny Taddei And I promise you these guys are good people!!!

They did a great job, were timely and helped really understand a more complicated system so we weren't making the same mistakes as previous owners. They also helped us reset the code on our garage door opener with no extra charge.

Zach was great to work with. As property owners living out of town, Zach worked with our tenants and communicated with us and what needed to be done. Great work at a great price.

Very knowledgeable and professional. Made sure all locks were keyed to the same key. Fixed one doors mechanism to be sure I wouldn't lock myself out. Returned to fix a door handle that was loose.

I needed my front door deadbolt lock as well as a door handle with a lock replaced. After looking at possible companies on Angie's List for I had no idea of who to call, I decided to call Don's Keyway Lock and Safe from the list. The phone was answered right away. They were very friendly and helpful not only with when and what they could do but also what type of locks I might need. I was told the cost would be $80. They also offered to come out that day. As I still needed to decide on & get the hardware, an appointment for the next morning was set. There was a coupon available through Angie's List that was $50 for $75 which I used. All went well the next morning. My locks and handle were replaced and checked out. All of my questions were answered & much information was given. The total cost with the coupon was $55. I appreciate the timeliness, helpfulness and friendly attitude of Don's Keyway. I would not hesitate to call them again.

I had a key for a storm door that no one in Loveland could duplicate for me. Keyway had the exact blank in stock and made the key in no time. A very pleasant experience.,

Very professional. Arrived on time, rekeyed both doors and then did some extra work fixing a lock on a bedroom and the screen door. I also had occasion to visit the store front the other day. They ordered a special key for me which I have been unable to find anywhere else. Would recommend and use again.

As mentioned, our front door deadbolt became inoperable. When we called Don's, their first question was "are you locked out?" which indicated to us that they were prepared for immediate response if we were. When we responded that we weren't, they apologized and said that they could come by later that day and that they'd call prior to coming. When Jeremiah arrived, we explained and demonstrated the problem and we walked away. We expected that he'd say that we needed an entirely new unit and, since the doorknob and deadbolt shared the same key, expected to be told that we needed a new handset as well.Jeremian didn't replace the existing lock - he repaired it! As we said, we were prepared to replace the two units but he repaired the problem. He displayed punctuality, price, and professionalism - the triple crown - and he will be our first phone call should we ever need locksmith services again!
