My furnace would not distribute warm air, the temperature that week was below zero, the ambient temperature in my home was about 40 degrees. I called their office about 7:30 a.m., Darren was at my home by about 9:00 a.m. Darren was professional and friendly. He repaired the unit quickly. I would HIGHLY recommend Certified Mechanical!!! Gas fireplace would no stay on. I called the Service man, set up an appointment, he arrived on time and diagnosed the problem as a faulty electronic control. The part had to be ordered from the factory. When the part arrived the service man gave us a call and set an appointment time when I could be there. He installed the part, the fireplace fired up and he left. That evening the fireplace would not fire-up again. I called the service man and he came out the next day. He found two wires reversed, changed them around and the fireplace fired up. The fireplace has been working correctly since.

Jason Tryon was wonderfully candid, honest, professional, and kept me informed every step of the way as he was servicing my furnace. I just purchased this house and needed to know if the furnace was safely operable as it is 18 years old and I did not know when it was last serviced. I interviewed (in person at my home) three other HVAC representatives to determine if they would provide this service to me in a reasonable amount of time and cost. I also asked for quotes from each of these businesses for a new furnace and new central A/C systems to be installed next spring. None of them compared to Jason's (Certified Mechanical) professional attitude and skills. I had done enough research online prior to meeting with all these HVAC businesses to have a general grasp of the type of information I was seeking. Jason was the only HVAC business who patiently and succinctly answered my questions in a professional manner without trying to sell me more than I needed for my house. The other business quotes were twice to three times as Certified Mechanical and each of their attitudes were unacceptable to me during our discussions. I would hire and use Certified Mechanical without hesitation for all my HVAC needs -- and intend to hire them to provide and install a new furnace and A/C system next spring.

I've used Certified Mechanical on two different occasions. Once when the air conditioner went out and again when the furnace went out. On both occasions they were prompt, professional, honest, and efficient. The repairs were done quickly and correctly and the price was fair. I highly recommend these guys. Competent, dependable, and honest!

The technician who came was very knowledgeable. He explained everything nicely that we had questions about. He was reasonably priced and came at reasonable time.

When you call Certified Mechanical, you speak to one of the 2 company owners, which is wonderful. We had used this company in the past to install a new gas furnace, but we knew they also were able to work on air conditioners. It was a Friday afternoon, and we had company arriving, and our house was HOT, and the air conditioner was not able to run. I called Certified Mechanical. Jason agreed to come over, and within a few minutes, he had diagnosed the problem. He replaced the obviously BAD part, and as if by magic, the air conditioner was now running (and thankfully, it was cooling). The cost was for the service call, and the one part, so it was very, very reasonable. Looking back, I am so pleased that Certified Mechanical guys know what they are doing, but they are also honest & I can trust their work. I would highly recommend this company !

I have used Certified Mechanical to fix my furnace. The air inducer burned out and Jason determined that the cause was condensate building up in the air intake/outlet pipe. He re-routed the pipe and fixed the problem. Recently, I had a question about my A/C unit and he was able to diagnose the problem right over the phone. I have been burned by other HVAC contractors in the area. It's nice to know that I can rely on Certified Mechanical. Jason is honest about his work and fair with pricing.

having some unexpected I spoke with Darren every time I called and he was the technician that did the work. (He is also the owner.) The appointment was originally scheduled for 7/2/13 but he called me at the appointment time to tell me that the technician wouldn't be able to come due to his previous appointment having some unexpected issues. While it was inconveinent due to me already having left work he got me scheduled for the next day. (That's why Punctuality was rated a C.) Not only did Darren show up to do the work himself, he was actually waiting for me when i got there. Darren had the issue diagnosed and fixed quickly; he was done within 30 minutes. I was surprised at how cheap the bill was and that was before he knocked off the service call fee. Something he decided to do since they were unable to make it the day before. Darren was professional and took the time to show me what the issue was and exactly what he was doing to resolve it. Not only did he give me instructions on things to do in the future, he also gave me ideas on how to fix my fridge when I called to see if they service appliances. (Something that they don't do.) I will definitely be calling Certified Mechanical in the future for my HVAC needs and would recommend them to

They were very competitive in price. They were very knowledgeable. The owner, Jason, was the one that came out and looked at the house and gave me the bid. They were very punctual, they were right on time. They were done with the work very quickly. They were very polite while they were here. They cleaned up after themselves. I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

He was extremely sensitive to the time. I called and he showed up within one hour. Jason was very thorough and extremely detailed in the trouble shooting. I will use him again for sure! He was awesome!!!! Allen P&H said they could do it on Saturday (4 days away) and FTC Heating and Air had me on hold for over 5 minutes, so I hung up.

Same day service. Once we knew it was a bad fuse, a new one was installed and the system came on. The AC unit itself was checked over and deemed to be fine. These are the nicest people and very fair. This is the fourth time I have called them. They cleaned my furnace when I first bought the house, then a few months later did a minor furnace repair, several months later installed a humidifier on the furnace, and now got my air conditioning to work. They are very responsive, professional and prices are very reasonable. They are my go-to company for anything I need for furnace or air conditioning.

Outstanding experience using Certified Mechanical LLC for the first time. I found this company through Angie's list, read the existing reviews, called to discuss my heating problem, and scheduled an appointment. The problem was correctly and efficiently diagnosed, and would have been repaired same day except for the delay getting required parts from Denver. Jason is experienced, professional, and as co-owner obviously vested in the company and it's reputation. Estimate was reasonable and final bill matched the estimate. Based on general recommendations concerning air conditioning and heating, and this experience, I plan to use Certified Mechanical for this rental and our own home.

Certified Mechanical crew, including the occupancy owner, arrived exactly on time for the scheduled furnace replacement. They began by laying down a canvas covering to protect the carpeted area around the furnace room. One crew member began dis-assembly of our OLD furnace, being careful to not damage the existing air conditioning components inside the furnace duct. Another crew member prepared the new furnace for installation. The owner went above and beyond when he used an insulated vent pipe for the make-up air to the furnace room since that vent pipe extended near some water pipes. He wanted to avoid any risk of freezing the water lines. We would probably have never known the difference, but Jason genuinely knows how to do the job right and he cares ! He also did not charge us extra ! The new furnace slipped right into the place of the old one, and in a short time the company owner had the new furnace running. We were surprised at how quiet the new furnace is. The crew paid special attention to cleaning the area, and they even sent our old furnace to recycling. Jason carefully checked to make sure it was all perfect, and then he took extra time to show my husband and me how to change the filter, and where on the unit to look for "trouble codes" should anything not function to our satisfaction. He gave us the warranty paperwork, and assured us that he was readily available should we have ANY questions or concerns. The invoice for work was exactly what was bid, not a penny more. We are pleased to have had such a competent team of professionals replace our furnace. I have already referred the neighbor to Certified Mechanical since she has an original furnace in her house too, which is probably over due for replacement . Post Script.....here it is, 2 days after the furnace replacement, and we absolutely LOVE the new furnace. It is quiet, and runs much less than our previous furnace, and I no longer worry about being able to safely heat our house. I think we will benefit from the energy savings as well.

A plumber let me know they had used the wrong kind of piping for the humidifier installation, and I'm not sure how efficient the furnace is since I haven't received a bill yet, but otherwise, the job they did was good.

We came home to a cold house saturday evening and found that the furnace was not heating up even though the fan was still running. Later that evening the heat came back on, so I decided to wait until the next day to call. When I called on sunday and described the problem, Jason said it should be OK to wait until monday to check it out (and thus avoid the weekend overtime). He was able to come monday morning and found that he only need to clean the flame sensor. Very helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

We had a very similar experience to the previous review. We arrived home from vacation on New Year's Eve to find that our furnace motor had burned out. We called Jason who said he was unable to obtain the parts due to the parts shops being closed until Wednesday, but he said he would call around and try to locate one anyway. He said he would find us a temporary replacement heater if our house became too cold. We were able to survive with 2 space heaters until he replaced the motor on Wednesday. The price was very reasonable from what I hear. We will use him for all future furnace maintenance.

On Dec. 30th our main floor furnace was not functioning properly and we detected the smell of something getting too hot. Eventually the motor just stopped. After reviewing several heating contractors we selected Certified Mech. because of all the positive ratings. I called and spoke with Jason, the owner, and he explained that he would not be able to service the unit until after the holidays since getting the factory replacement motor would be impossible until the supply house opened on Jan 2. He then offered some suggestions to get us by until he could make the service call. He did say if it was an an emergency and we were willing to pay the extra expense, he'd try to locate a motor but he assured us that we could keep our home fairly comfortable by using our upper floor furnace. That was good advice as we saved a great deal of added expenses. Jason returned our calls promptly and kept us informed as to when he would arrive and quoted us a price that was realistically fair When he arrived he was very professional and had the parts needed to make the repairs and get our home back to a normal temperature. When finished he presented an invoice that was exactly what he quoted over the phone. Anyone with a need for a good reliable, honest technician for service or new installation on heating and air conditioning could not find anyone better than Ceriified Mechanical.

I was having an issue with my furnace where the fan would run continually, but no heat would come out. I called and the gentleman I talked to talked me through re-setting the furnace on my own, thus avoidiung a service call. He said that for some reason my furnace had overheated and a safety switch had turned the heating element off. He said if it happened again, they should come out and determine why it was over heating. It did happen again, they came out and determined that my 17 year old unit needed replacing. They gave me a very good price and were able to come out within the week. (At the time, the weather was mile, but a cold front was predicted). The best part is they were able to re-do the venting so that my finished basement, previously always freezing, is now just as toasty as the rest of the house. Two years later I had noticed that my furnace is malfunctioning. I tried to call them to have them look at it but they have been unable to return my phone calls. At this time I have found another service provider to look over the furnace and they determined that it was not installed properly and because of that there is now damage to the fan motor. The repair has been estimated at approximately $1,800 and it would not be covered under warranty.

The people who cleaned my heater and air conditioner for the past 10 years did not know anything about my fireplace. It had not been used for over 2 years and the fireplace was fixed with great care and knowledge by Certified Mechanical.

We contacted Darren by phone, and explained our sense of urgency since we had tenants in the home and the heat was out during cold weather. He responded that very day and promptly had a new system installed. We were very impressed and grateful. His pricing was fair and he did not ask for payment until the job was done. Subsequently, we called him again for another rental property and he was ready to go over there within the hour. We ended up cancelling that visit as the tenant was able to correct the issue, but were again impressed by his responsiveness. The furnace he installed works great.

We called Certified Mechanical after unsuccessfully attempting to contact another company about a furnace problem in the early afternoon preceding the Thanksgiving holiday. They were immediately available on the phone and went through some basic troubleshooting suggestions to possibly get the problem corrected without someone needing to come out, however the problem was more serious so a service call was needed. They were going to send a technician the same day, but due to workload, they might not have been able to make it out in time to be able to look at the furnace before the parts distributors might be closed if a replacement part were needed. They suggested we would be better off using someone who could come out right away so any needed parts would still be available and we wouldn't end up possibly having to wait until after the holiday without heat, and they also offered to loan us electric heaters if needed . They even went as far as finding another company who had someone available right away and (at our request) arranging for them to come out, which was particularly helpful, and impressive. The repair did require replacement parts, so their recommendation was correct, and our furnace was back up and running before the holiday. The overall experience was very positive. As such, I would recommend Certified Mechanical to anyone needing Heating and A/C services. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in solving our problem.

These guys did well and when we had a cold spell during the repair they brought electric heaters to get us through. The repair was difficult and I know they were frustrated but didn't complain or ask for more to fix it. My only problem with the work was that they tried too hard to work around a defective part and caused what, in retrospect, was a lot of extra time and trouble before it all got sorted out. I had a hard time with the extra time getting heat again but respect that they did what they judged to be the right course of action. Being a business owner myself I believe that unforeseen problems are a fact of life and one should judge a business more by how they deal with problems than by the fact that they occasionally occur. I like and respect these guys and would certainly recommend them to anyone needing their services. I referred them to a customer of mine and they felt very good about them as well.

I have used this company twice before, once for a furnace cleaning and then for a furnace repair. There is a reason I continue to use them. They are prompt, get the work done in a timely manner and charge a reasonable price for their services. They are very courteous and easy to communicate with. The system and it's minor maintenance was thoroughly explained to me. I also did not know that the power for the doorbell is one the furnace! I could tell the difference in the feel of the temperature in the house within a day. I am someone who is always cold in the winter, but now at the same temperature, the house just feels warmer. That "chill" is pretty much gone. It's going to be a nicer winter without me cranking up the heat to get warm.
