Description of Work: Billy Goat movers were the best movers I've ever used by far (I was so happy with the first move, I used them a second time a few weeks later after we sold our house). Both times they charged less than quoted, and not a single thing was broken (including a ton of china and stemware that they packed and moved for me). I will absolutely use them again.

Description of Work: We hired Billy Goat Movers to move from one bedroom upstairs apartment to 2 story (plus finished basement) town home. The service provided was outstanding. We received a phone call well within the time range and they arrived as scheduled. The movers worked nonstop - quickly but still cautiously to avoid any damage or "dings" to walls or furniture. These guys worked really hard to complete the job within the quoted time. They were polite and respectful and extremely helpful. Move went much more smoothly than expected even though the town home had narrow and steep stairwells. The price was extremely affordable and well worth the money. I highly recommend this company for all your moving needs in the Ft. Collins area. |

Description of Work: They moved some items that we had purposely left in a house we were selling. They had previuosly (April 2012)moved us to a new home and although they did a GREAT job on that move I had neglected to write a review. The previous move was the major one....they moved a lot o flarger furniture for us.

 + -1 moreI am entirely satisfied with the work performed by this company. The movers were on time and courteous. I was impressed with the care that they took to prevent damage. They layed padding on my floors and when they moved the furniture they were very careful to avoid damaging both the furniture and the building. There was no damage. They worked steadily and were fast. If I need to move again, I would definitely use them and recommend them to anyone requiring moving services.
Description of Work: Billy Goat Moving Company moved my belongings from my apartment to my new home. The move was a local move and was completed in one day.

I was impressed that they were so upfront and even made sure that I understood what the approximate cost was going to be (not always the easiest conversation, I am sure). They worked for over 10 hours, which is what my wife and I expected.
Description of Work: We called several weeks before our closing date on our new house and scheduled Billy Goat Movers to move our 3 bedroom house, full basement and 2 storage units to our new home. On our moving day, the movers (3 men) arrived on time and ready to work. They assessed the furniture, boxes and other items and quickly arrived at a thorough plan. They worked tirelessly throughout the day. Our original estimate from BGM was for a 4-6 hour move. This estimate was conservative. After the on site assessment, the team leader was upfront that the move would likely take longer. It was still within what we had budgeted and the men began to load. They worked hard all day long, updating us along the way. They loaded everything quickly and carefully. They unloaded into the rooms at the new home where items belonged. They assembled beds, arranged furniture and unloaded heavy items. They updated me during the process and communicated well with me.

Description of Work: Moved furniture from an apartment and a full 10X20 storage unit to our new townhouse. Move involved 2 stops for pickup and distance to unload point was approximately 10 miles. Billy Goat provided 4 men and two trucks.

 + -1 moreThe movers arrived right on time and moved us 15 miles in less than 5 hours. They only charged us for their actual loading/unloading time. Our most difficult item was a very heavy gun safe that went from basement to basement and they made it look easy! Great service, nice people.

They put all items where we requested. My only complaint was the price. They are the most expensive movers I have ever hired. And I have moved 7 times in the past 5 years.
