Our house burned down in September. The insurance company was a nightmare, and our credit union took forever to clear our settlement check once we got it. The folks with AP Excavation worked with us, helped us navigate the permitting process, met all of our needs, and quite simply were far and away the easiest part of the whole process. They made sure we were taken care of in an efficient, professional, and compassionate way. AP made it so much easier than we expected to get what was left of our house taken care of. I would not hesitate to recommend AP Excavation to anyone. These are good people, and they run a good company.

They replaced two 8 ft sections of my fence that had blown over, and I would absolutely recommend them based on the work done. They went out of their way to come to my house on Christmas Eve. They appreciated the urgency of my situation, as I have two dogs that I feared would escape due to the openings in my fence. They were actually going to go out of town, and they delayed their vacation to help me with my fence. They came through for me absolutely 150%.

Polite punctual and perfect

I hired this company to do 2 egress windows. Initially, I thought they were a good company, very customer first minded, but then, our project went south.. They didn't take out the permit like they said they would, they kept saying they would do it tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow... Then they told me they finally submitted the permit a week and half later after the job had started, which I should have never let them start, but I took their word for it as it was written in the contract. When I called the city to check on the status, nobody had submitted a permit. Work: They quoted the work to be done in 3 days, they started digging on Monday, they cut the basement walls on Tuesday, then told me Tuesday night that the windows weren't ready through Rio Grande. We spent the night with 4ftx4ft wholes in two of my walls with only plastic covering them. They promised to get the work done on Wednesday. They sent a 'worker' guy to patch and clean the outside cement (our original opening was about 15 inches wider than the window we put in) with no tools, he had to use my husband's tools to work that day. Wednesday night they told me they had one of the windows, but the guy that does the window install was not answering their phone calls and they didn't have the knowledge do the work. We spent another night without windows. Thursday they came out and placed the windows in just to cover the space and said they would be back the next day and hopefully finish. They found another two men to come out to finish the job but they didn't show. Saturday came and finally, the original came was able to come out to finish the install. They must have been upset with the guy because he did a terrible job. He was fired from this company and they hired the other two guys to come back in and finish the job. They came out Monday, didn't get it done because the window well was too small, we didn't get complete and finished the outside on that following Saturday. A & P just came out on Wednesday to finish caulking the outside of the windows. They showed up late, we spent more time waiting for them to arrive than what they spent doing the work. They promised money back guarantee for their work but was only their word of mouth so when I told them I wanted to cancel our contract and I wanted my money back, they said it wasn't part of the contract. Their promise to customer service is not true. They told us what they did to get the contract. This job that was supposed to be a 3-day job ended up being 3+ week project. All the time we had to take from work and our personal lives to wait around for them was inexcusable. All they would say is that it was beyond their control. They were to replace the other smaller basement windows, but due to the horrible 3+ wks of stress and frustration, we will not allow them to do any other work for us.

Wonderful family business to work with. Professional, reliable and great communicators. They have helped me with multiple projects (major demolition, landscaping, patio renovation, yard work, fence installation) and I am always impressed and very happy with the value and quality of work. Can't say enough good stuff about these guys.

Very Friendly, good communication, finished the job on time and also did a fence for us and fixed a patio stone. They did it all in one long day and cleaned up after themselves. The installed a new timber retaining wall, straightened the sprinkler box, took out and replaced 30 feet of fence. I would hire them again.

Paul and his team were very efficient and hard working people. Quick response to our request and easy communication. They removed a huge elm tree which has different utility and power lines under it in our backyard. Our driveway was too narrow for a bucket truck so they have to use our neighbor's driveway. They were polite and clean the driveway for our neighbor! Their work is professional and price is fair.
