GCM Custom Hardwood Floors

Geoff Sr. and Geoff Jr. worked on our floors for 1 1/2 days, and also replaced a board that wouldn't sand out because of the previous occupant's dog urine. Their attention to detail was outstanding and the result was better than a new floor. When we were first soliciting bids, we considered putting a new floor down, because some of the refinishing quotes were almost comparable to 300 sq. ft of new floor. These guys did a terrific job, they were on time, were friendly, personable and very quality conscious. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any kind of wood flooring work. Geoff Sr has been at it for 36 years and knows it all when it comes to hardwood floors and Geoff Jr. has been working with his father for 7 years.

Geoff did a phenomenal job at a very reasonable price. He made sure the job was perfect. He is a true craftsman and a genuinely good guy. We've recommended him to others and they have been universally satisfied.

I had used Geoff previously on another property where he had done a very good job. He was the first one I called. He came right out within an hour to measure and give me a written estimate. Luckily he had a cancellation during the upcoming week so he was able to start within a few days. He started right on time and finished within the time frame he quoted me. The job took a little longer for him than expected as the warped floor required substantially more sanding to get it smooth. When he was done, the floor looked perfect and virtually brand new. Except for the filled holes, you would never guess the floor had been there for 40 years and had gone through what it had. Geoff is always very polite, professional and takes pride in his work.
