Great, Mark was very consultative and punctual. his price was fair and the work he and his team did was exceptional inside and out. From the removal and preparation of the work space to the installation and finish work, they did a fantastic job and the skylight looks awesome!

We had solar tunnel skylights installed in two rooms in our home, wonderful experience with Design Skylights! We highly recommend this company and will use their services again.

I had spoken with Mark, the owner of the company on 2 separate occasions over the past 6 weeks. Each time he told me he would get back to me in order to schedule an appointment to come to our home. He never called back. Left a message on his voicemail earlier today and still I haven't heard back from him. Seems like a nice guy when we have talked but he is very unreliable.

I really appreciated Mark's time to thoroughly inspect the sunroof and the surrounding areas and give me detailed instructions on the next step. I would definitely recommend him for other work.

I called three providers off of Angie's list to set up estimates. Mark returned my call quickly and we set up a day, after the December holidays, for him to come out and take a look. The other two providers also called back quickly but one charges $50 for an estimate (they later reduced to to $25 when an office member followed-up, but I don't like paying for estimates) and the other couldn't get to the work for a couple weeks. A couple days before our scheduled time, Mark called to establish an exact time to come by. That day, he ran a little late but called to let me know which I appreciated. When he arrived, he took a examined the skylight from the inside and also climbed up on the roof to take a closer look. He let us know that the skylights we had were meant for a roof with a steeper pitch. He resealed the seams and charged us a very fair amount. It was nice to get it all done quickly. So far the seam has not leaked. Mark was pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend him.

Mark is very dependable, and professional. His price was mid-range, from other bids, however he does the work himself, and he is very impressive in terms of his knowledge, and you just know you have the right man for the job. He shows up when he says he will. He is methodical, and is not slow or in a hurry. He made sure I was completely happy with the work, before payment. He did a great job on my 1960's home. I was not completely happy with one of the textured finishes, and he came and fixed what I did not like very quickly. And that was after I said I was happy with everything, and paid of course. He had no problem coming back to make me the happiest skylight customer. I did not have him paint, as I like to do that, however he was there for me, to help me with the best painting methods and advice. Three lovely skylights with little dust or mess. He is great, and after numerous remodels over the years, I rarely find anyone I would recommend to anyone. Mark is trustworthy, and knows exactly how to do a great job with skylights.

I found Design Skylights through Angie's List and would happily recommend Mark Lundquist (owner) to anyone looking for an honest estimate and quality work. Mark was the second person I called after receiving a quote from another company. That company delivered an estimate of nearly $1,600 whereas Mark quoted me about $900. Mark was able to get the job scheduled within a week of my first call, and he called me a couple times in the interim to advise of the schedule status, which I appreciated. We scheduled the work to be completed on a Monday around 5pm. Mark was in Windsor for another install earlier in the day, but was still at my house right around 5. The removal of the old skylights and replacement with the new ones took about 90 minutes, just as Mark had estimated. Mark was professional and courteous while the work was being performed, and patiently answered questions while I sat on the roof while he was fastening the new skylights to the curbs. Once the work was completed, Mark was kind enough to climb to the peak of the roof to retrieve a couple rope light clips that were still on the shingle edges. I am very pleased with Mark's work and the value relative to the cost of the project and would recommend him in a second. Thanks Mark!
