Description of Work: Furnice tune up.

Description of Work: I needed my carpets cleaned plus 2 area rugs a couch and a chair.

Description of Work: Had 50 gallon gas water heater replaced. Existing unit was 20 years old and replacement was preventative. Work was completed in a timely manner and am very satisfied.

Description of Work: "On 7/10/15 Protech was contacted to service the Lennox AC at my vacation home located at 1885 Homestead Lane, Estes Park, CO 80517. Although I do not reside in Estes Park, I was present when their technician, contacted by my property agent, diagnosed the problem as a failed compressor. This was quite a surprise since the unit is essentially new since it is used very little if at all. He told me face to face that it would cost in the neighborhood of $1500 for a new compressor, but that he would work with Lennox on warranty coverage. With renters booked and summer looming I authorized proceeding with replacement. I was billed through my agent, $3541.00 which he paid and withheld from my rental income check. I have learned from Lennox that no consideration is given to warranty issues without them receiving the compressor and the work being performed by one of their authorized dealers. The compressor has not been received by Lennox, and Protech is not one of their authorized dealers. Thus, I was mislead by their technician. At this point, it is not possible to independently verify that the compressor was indeed faulty. Further research has revealed that the compressor model Protech installed retails for $670-$800. Presumably wholesale pricing would discount this somewhat, and tax and shipping would inflate this somewhat, but that gives me a ballpark ideal of the value of the compressor which constituted $2928 of their billing. To resolve this matter, I requested a refund of the overcharge in the amount of $1428. This is based on a compressor cost of $1500, providing them a more than reasonable markup, and includes $106 for diagnosis, $224 for charging, $234 for refrigerant, and $49 for service fee. Since they told me they would work with Lennox on the warranty, they can work with the manufacturer on reimbursement. I contacted them 10/15/15 and have not had a reply."

Description of Work: I used to have a service contract with Pro Tech. They came out to do a "service" call and told me I needed to buy a new furnace. They told my neighbor the same thing. A few days later, we discovered that our pilot light was out. . . after the service man had been in the crawl space working on our furnace. I reported this to the Better Business Bureau. Pro Tech said they would refund the money for my service contract and the service call from another company to relight the pilot light. . . but I never received it. I will never use ProTech again and would discourage anyone else from using them.

Description of Work: My sewer line was frozen from the house to the septic approximately 20'. They stuck a hot water high pressure line into the line and melted the ice.
