It didn't go. No one returned my calls or emails.

Always available via phone or if I left a message Levi called back within the day. They also made several trips out to the house to perform the design and estimates. Always friendly and professional which is key in looking for a good contractor.

To this date I have not received a call back. If you're totally booked and can't take on new clients then say that in your message or at least have the courtesy to call people back.

Due to another kitchen cabinet company walking out on my project I was in a bind and needed to find a place to order cabinets within a short timeline. Levi Maxwell of Paramount Construction was highly recommended to my by an interior designer. Levi empathized with my situation and immediately fit me into his schedule and made my project a priority. He made improvements to the layout, offered advice regarding selection of cabinets, ordered the cabinets and had his installer install them. He made several trips to my home to do field measurements and oversee the installation. He respected my budget. The cabinets and installers arrived on the dates promised. Throughout the process Levi was available to answer questions and provide further suggestions. Levi is a very honorable, professional businessman and it's a pleasure to work with him. The following incident illustrates what it's like to work with Levi. After Levi and the installers left I noticed a flaw on one of the cabinet doors. I sent pictures to Levi. I expected him to reply that it was just a characteristic of the wood. Instead he said he'd noticed it too and had already ordered a replacement door at no cost to me. What a treat it was to have this response. I can certainly recommend Levi Maxwell and Paramount Remodeling without hesitation.

It went outstanding. The only reason I couldn't actually go through with it was that I was short on the budget. Had I had the appropriate budget, I absolutely would have utilized their services. And given the quality of the estimate they provided, I would absolutely pursue using them again. They were the most professional and thorough general contractors I have ever worked with.

If professional, quality and eye for detail is what you are looking for, look no further. Max, Levi and crew do great work and are easy to work with down to the detail. The 3D modeling in the planning phase of the project was helpful to see our vision on paper. Making additions to the project or addendums was therefore straight forward and a smooth process. They have good listening skills and know how to integrate your ideas into the project. It is exciting to see the project some to fruition and they are very good and thorough about seeing all the work to completion. We remodeled our original family home from the 1950's and were able to create a clean, open plan with original detail work from the 1950's!

We used Paramount for a major kitchen remodel, and they did an excellent job. Paramount handled all the details start to finish, which was great as we did not have the time to be actively involved. They assisted with the many selections of design elements, materials, and hardware, offering professional experience and guidance when requested. Paramount executed their project plan on time and within budget. The new kitchen is remarkable and a great design success. Our friends, neighbors and family have all been delighted to spend time in this elegant new space. We recommend Paramount unreservedly.

Owner had an "attitude" and was arrogant. Was not very helpful to help us decide what we would need to do, for example what kind of light fixtures, etc. Came in with a $44,000 bid to finish 600 sq ft.

Paramount finished my basement last year and did a fantastic job. This year they are remodeling my master bath and kitchen and I couldn't be happier. My style is not ordinary and after dealing with a designer who told me what I wanted couldn't be done, I contacted Levi who understood immediately and helped me shape my vision. He took his time working with me on the final design, always responsive and never pressuring. Bottom line, i trust Levi and Max. They're good people who've set high standards for themselves and their subs. Be forewarned, they're incredibly busy. But if you're willing to be patient and be open and communicative with your expectations, they are the best.

Paramount did a wonderful job of providing quick service, competitive rate and clean and professional install. I am very happy with their services. Levi was wonderful to work with. I would use their services in the future.

Paramount came in and demo'd the kitchen in a couple of days. They removed all of the old cabinets, countertops and flooring in the entry way, kitchen and dining room. They opened up the subfloor along a joist line and ran new plumbing for the water and drains. They opened up the walls and ran circuits for lights and outlets. They moved the door to the dining room about a foot to enlarge one wall for new cabinets. The flooring subcontractor installed new hardwood flooring and did a great job tying in and matching the existing hardwood floor. New cabinets and crown molding were installed. A couple of the cabinets were damaged during shipping, but the cabinet installer did a good job repairing the damage. The granite countertops were installed on the new cabinet bases. The subcontractor for the countertops made several mistakes with the measurements and fitting of the countertops. We're not one hundred percent pleased with their work, but the countertops came out alright. I'm not sure I would use this subcontractor for future countertop work. We're in the finishing steps on the project and working through several items on the punch list which need to be completed. As the project has been inspected by the city, any problems with the inspection regarding building codes have been promptly resolved. Overall, we're satisfied with the quality of work performed and would recommend Paramount for remodeling work.

This project is in progress. We are roughed in and beginning finishing work. Everything is running quickly and smoothly. Will update as we near completion this next month.

It went great. After a slow start the work really took off. They started with the electrical and plumbing. They did a great job on the dry wall (no texture - smooth walls which is more difficult and time consuming). The hardwood and tile work is all top notch, along with the installation of all the cabinetry. Since the place was gutted down to the studs, I had them take out a wall, and add in a laundry area and a pantry. Paramount took care of all the code work, the permits, and engineering requirements for the job. It was a pleasure to work with them.

Levi was terrific. He had a lot of good ideas and thoroughly explains his process. Gives a great overview and time frame when explaining each phase of the project. We are going to hold off until the spring to make a final decision but were very impressed with Levi's presentation and professionalism.

Overall the remodeling went well and we are very happy with the final results. We worked with Levi Maxwell for several months planning the remodeling. This effort was conducted at our home, in Paramount's office, and over the internet and phone. Levi was very patient with our frequent changes and receptive to new ideas. He helped with the designing and ordering of cabinets, appliances, shelving, tile, and countertops. Max Maxwell coordinated the remodeling and permitting efforts, using both Paramount employees and subcontractors. Max communicated well with us throughout the remodeling. He explained the work that had been completed and about to be done, what plan modifications were necessary, and the expected schedule. Max frequently worked along side the others and insured the work was completed. The remodeling took longer than planned, 9 months instead of 4 months. This was partly due to changes in the scope of work because we requested additional things (eg: removal of back patio cover, extending the stone flooring everywhere, painting the entire ground level, and extending the balcony over the breakfast bump-out). But it was also due to subcontractors being busy with other projects, so that often several weeks would pass without any progress on our house. At the end of the day, we have a beautiful home that fits our needs and our tastes. We are very proud of it.

Very good! This was my first experience with a home remodel project and I had heard numerous cautionary tales from fellow homeowners about cost overruns, never-ending delays and the like. Although there was some increases to cost over my initial estimate, those were all due to peculiarities of my project (notably my 1929 home) and the finishes that I selected. I had a very tight time frame in which I wanted to get the project done and was up front about this; the team managed to get 99% of the project done within days of their original estimate and are only finishing up final inspection and punch list items. I am a very detail oriented person and the team was wonderful about meeting my expectations and working to achieve my goals! My primary contact is Mike Capps and he was very easy to talk to and get in touch with and was very responsive to my questions, concerns and requests. I would use this contractor again and would recommend them to others!

The drawings were very helpful and the price quoted very reasonable. Max was super pleasant to have out to the house. We will definitely consider Paramount Remodeling when the time is right.

They had someone come out and look at the bathroom. When they left, they said they would get back to me with an estimate. I still have not heard a word from them.

The work and the condition of the work site are satisfactory. What was not satisfactory was that I had no access to my driveway or backyard for five days, and was unable to reach anyone for information on the status of the project during that time. Also not satisfactory - when the dumpster company came to pick up the dumpster, they demanded payment on the spot - which i knew nothing about. He offered to unload the dumpster in my front yard if i didn't pay. Forty-five minutes and 8 phone calls later, Paramount sorted it out and the dumpster is finally gone. The work was good, the experience was bad. I would not recommend this company or use them again.

I couldn't be happier with the process and the results. I was traveling overseas while the men from Paramount remodeled my condo. I had found their excellent reviews on Angies List and hired them based on that. I signed the e-mailed contract from Paramount around January 1, 2015 and asked that the work be finished by the time I moved in on April 1. It was, and everything looks fantastic! When I told friends that I was paying someone I'd never met and just hoping for the best, they thought I was crazy. But the other Angies List reviewers knew what they were talking about. The work is perfect and looks even better than I hoped for. I wish I could post "before" and "after" pics because the difference is dramatic. Everyone who visits me comments on how beautiful my new home is.

Mike was great and easy/comfortable person to work with. Very knowledgeable. He helped us with our color and material selections and design choices. He scheduled his crew very well, and worked it out with our personal schedules. And all his guys were very skillful with tile and granite work, electrical, plumbing, drywall, general carpentry, etc. And courteous and professional. We were very pleased.

This provider never even responded to me. I tried to contact this provider for a remodel on my house and they NEVER got back to me. I emailed them and left all my contact info and never heard back from them. Needless to say I wont be using them for any jobs in the future.

My partner and I scheduled an appointment on Dec. 1, 2014 with Levi to come out and see what all we wanted done. He showed up on time and we went through everything, he gave us some ideas and, he seemed to understand what we wanted. He took measurements of bath and doors and we discussed that we would not want to start till mid January, which was fine because he said that they were booked till then anyway. Approximately three weeks went by, and heard nothing, and Levi did not even email the estimate as discussed. So I called and left a message, and still, 5 weeks and no response what so ever. If Paramont was not interested, I would have at least appreciated a phone call to say no thanks, but as a business, I expected much more, and not to waste our time as well as their own. I really don't understand the reasoning behind this action, or non-action on their part, but I did try to reach them by phone once, and left Levi a message, but will not waste anymore of my time on them. They seem to have a good "grade" here on Angie's List, but this experience was not ideal. Needless to say, I would not use them or recommend them at this time.
