Thunderbird Design

I worked with Dustin from Thunderbird. He responded quickly to my emails and phone calls, accommodated my schedule, was prompt, professional, and listened to what I was looking for. He provided me with exactly what I was hoping for and I am extremely pleased.

Thunderbird Design did the work for me and it was great. They were professional and creative.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They communicated very well. They showed up on time and did what they said they would do. I have not followed up with the work.

Overall experience was excellent. Dustin and his team did an outstanding job. They got a delayed start due to weather but they kept us informed, came when expected, and kept the job site clean and orderly. The end product was just what we wanted, which they had helped us conceive when they first came out. Thunderbird isn't cheap - there were other providers willing to do the job for less - so you should be prepared to spend a little more with them. But you get a top quality product, done on time and within budget, and they care about their work. For us the extra cost (probably 10% - 20%) was definitely worth it. I would highly recommend them.

They were courteous and professional. They called me the day I asked for an estimate. They called the day before the planned service date to request rescheduling due to snow. I was very pleased they called about this in advance. The arrived promptly as scheduled and cleaned up the yard very well.

Jessica was personally invested in my project from the start. Everyone involved, from Adam, the owner, down to the last crew member, has been professional and dedicated to completing every detail of Jessica's design to the highest standards. The staff and crew at Thunderbird were and continue to be responsive to my every need. My ugly concrete patio was transformed into a backyard oasis, and all obstacles (a second concrete patio beneath the first, a sprinkler mishap) were given prompt attention and resolved to my satisfaction. Work was completed on time and follow-up, including replacement of dead sod and plants, has been exceptional.

Once the work started, and there was a lot of work, they kept to schedule pretty well. I now have what I consider to be the best front lawn on the block. The foreman and workers were always very professional, and I had all my questions answered.

Thunderbird was prompt, professional, friendly and exceeded our exacting expectations. We will be contracting with them in the spring to landscape the front yard. Neighbors who watched the activity were impressed with the work and plan to contact Thunderbird for their own projects.

My small yard was a disaster. Overgrown trees and nothing but weeds. Dustin and his team removed the old plants and sod and corrected the drainage. Then they created a beautiful flagstone patio with walking paths and raised planting beds. My yard is now a source of pride to me and I am very happy with the work that was done. I am thankful that Angie's list led me to Thunderbird Design. I would use them again and will recommend them to all my friends.

Dustin contacted me right away and we met within a day or two for initial design. He helped me with ideas (even what not to do!), and provieded a formal proposal quickly. I had a really short timeframe to work with, and he made it work beautifully. I asked for some additional work, and received a revised proposal. I was pleasantly surprised by a call to see if they could begin work earlier than planned! Work went smoothly and I had hands-on training of the sprinkler timer from the installation crew. Dustin followed up to make sure everything was completed satisfactorily. I have contracted them for maintenance and have a contract for the remainder of the year. Maintenance includes mowing, fertilizer, weed control, leaf and landscape debris removal and gutter and french drain clearing.

This vendor offered a clean-up special and returned my first call promptly. Failed to follow-up on commit for a detail project walk through visit and a written quote as discussed on phone.

I am very happy with the project and consider it very successful. We have struggled getting some "punch list items" completed in a timely fashion this year but I do trust them. Everyone from Thunderbird was very professional and knowledgeable and pleasant. I would use them again but depending on tying up loose ends I would say you may need to be cognisant of their busy time when you need them. It is seasonal work and you do need to fit that into your expectations.

They warranty all of the plants and grass when you when you purchased their sprinkler services. Our grass came back half dead and they came out and re-sodded it. They stand behind their warranty and I really appreciate that. Not only do they do landscaping, but they also offer a lot of landscaping maintenance with great discounts. They are great and they do a good job.

I was very pleased with Thunderbird. They were very, very good, and their warranty was great. I chose them because the pricing was very good. I would absolutely use them again.

We contacted 3 different landscaping companies to give us bids on completely re-modeling our fairly large front yard. Adam gave us a beautiful design that was immensely better than the sketch we gave him, and they seemed to be the only company that was not 'scared' at the idea of completely re-doing the sprinkler system. Adam worked with me to include my favorite perennials in the design. He also went through all the existing plants with me to salvage the ones worth saving and they were either worked into the new front plant beds, or the guys planted them in bare spots in our back yard (what a nice surprise). The foreman Chason and his team were wonderful to have around and they had a lot of bad weather to work through. They just kept slugging through the rain, working as much as they possibly could before everything would get too muddy. Somehow they managed to keep on schedule which was very impressive! We learned a lot through the process, and asked them to do additional work on the back sprinklers. The guys were really picky about getting everything just right, like not having any edging showing and partially burying the boulders so they looked more natural (thank you Adam and Chason, those details really matter). The plant beds are beautiful, with a variety of perennials, elevation changes, boulders, and a drip system supplying water to each plant. They are bordered by a rock mix of cobble and smaller rock and mulch covers the rest of the beds. We ended up having two different types of sod because the first order was delivered short. When we weren't happy, they came out and replaced the sod. Great service! Chason also came out to check on the sprinkler settings and plants as the summer went along. We now have one of the best front yards in the neighborhood and have received so many compliments! We heartily recommend Thunderbird Design to anyone that needs landscaping design and installation work.

The project went very well from start to finish. Would recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping and hardscaping.

The initial meeting was very professional. The company was given a budget to work within. They came out and took measurements and photographs and designed a yard we were very happy with. The actual construction from start to finish was exactly on schedule with the exception of some bad weather days. The company never asked for a change to the estimate or final payment until we were satisified. Since then, we have had them maintain our yard for 1 summer and have been very satisified with the work. This includes weeding the gardens, cutting the lawn, and fertilization.

Everyone I have dealt with associated with this company is above and beyond professional standard.

They were, as always, wonderful to work with. We have learned so much from their staff, and have even worked side by side with them in our gardens. I highly recommend working with them. They are definitely professional, courteous and responsible.
