I thought they did a great job.

Jesus came to my home to bid the job and was very professional. I had called several companies and they either failed to return my call or couldn't show up for the estimate. Hector showed up early and ready to go, he talked to me about the work and did an amazing job. We had one tile broken and we where not able to find a replacement for it. Hector took the time to put it back together and you can barely tell is was ever cracked. These guys know what they are doing and I got my more than I expected.

I had gotten a few estimates from companies on how they would go about fixing the significant mold/mildew that I had in my grout and caulking. The other companies essentially said they would clean the grout, reseal it as well as replace the caulking. While these were 1/2 to 3/4 the price that The Grout Medic would charge, The Grout Medic said they would remove all of the grout, replace it and that's much better than just cleaning the grout. I was sold on what they said and figured it was worth the extra money to have all of the grout replaced. The reason that I didn't give an A rating is that when they "removed the grout", there was still a lot of grout left. I pushed Hector on this, in that their written contract literally said "remove existing grout" and he said that he removed as much as he could. He then showed me the tool that he uses to remove the grout and explained that if he were to push any more, he would begin chipping the tile because the tiles were so close to each other. I understand what he was saying, however I feel deceived because this is something he should have told me when he gave me the estimate. If he wasn't going to be able to remove all of the grout, he should have told me that at the beginning, not told me, and written down "remove existing grout". The reason that I didn't give them an F is that despite feeling deceived, Hector was otherwise professional and the shower does look very nice.

I hired them based on Angie’s List Reviews. Their price seemed fair. I liked the owner and he did a very good job. They came out to do the work while they were gone, so I trusted them, but I did feel like they could’ve done a better job. However, I never contacted them back in regards to re-doing some of the work, but I feel like the owner would try to make things right.

Two technicians re-caulked three showers, one that had extensive damage. They also removed and replaced a broken tile, restored a tile countertop, and cleaned and sealed a marble back-splash. Carlos and Henry arrived a little early (good!), finished right on time and did a very professional job. Prior to seeing the results, we weren't sure if this was a job worth spending the money on, but seeing is believing - our baths look great.

I highly recommend Grout Medic for cleaning and repairs around ceramic tile - and don't wait ten years like I did!

The owner Jesus Barrios showed up a few minutes early for the appointment, looked over the floors, made some suggestions on what his company could do to improve them. Later, he emailed a detailed (area by area) estimate. A three-man crew showed up on time the morning of the day to do the work, looked over the rooms and each began to work in a different area. They were there for about eight hours, including a lunch break. When finished, they ask us to look over the job and things that we were not satisfied with, they redid. After they left, I found a couple of other small things that needed retouching. I called and someone from the company came a few days later and took care of it.

Their customer service was awesome. The owner, himself, visited the home at a time that was convenient for us and was very knowledgeable about what the work would entail. The only issue was that the grout cracked nearly a month after the work, but the company came out right away to make repairs.

It was fabulous. They did quality work at a fair price, and everything looks wonderful.

Everything went well, and they work looks great. My only issue was that they created a lot of dust which caused problems for my breathing issues.

I wanted an estimate for cleaning the grout only, but the quote was for another service that I hadn't wanted. Because of this, I started looking for other firms.

We chose to have the work done ourselves after they provided the estimate.

It was a nightmare. While doing the work, they had cut the heated flooring in four areas. They denied responsibility and wouldn't work with us at all. They passed the case to their insurance which was just as difficult to deal with. I would not recommend them to anyone.

The person who provided the estimate was well-spoken and left a good impression. However, the work was done very poorly, and the company needed to return to complete the job. I was unhappy with the service, and I would not use them again.

It was a father and son team, and they did good work. However, they haven't returned for the annual touch up work as promised.

They were very professional, but they had the highest price. Thus, we went with another company.

Grout Medic estimator / owner timely with appt. and provided immediate written quote. Estimated 5 hours of labor. Estimate neglected to mention the bathroom sink (but we were ultimately not charged for its completion). Scheduled work for two weeks out (first available appt. but very quick and easy office scheduling). Worker came on time BUT was non-English-speaking. Problems: 1) Since sink was not on estimate, worker did not think he was to do it. Home owner had to insist. Faucet was not done as, it was explained later, silicon - not epoxy - is used for that. Still... 2) Arrangements had been made for phone-in of credit card immmediately after satisfactory completion of job. Worker was expecting payment At Time of Service by check. 3) Time estimate was off by TWO hours which impinged on home owner's day. All made for very uncomfortable situations for elderly owner. Company just needs to get its communciations problems resolved as work was indeed done satisfactorily, albeit at a seemingly high cost for the areas.
