The floors were repaired the following February 2013. Alex maintained contact with me through the holidays and continually assured me they were negligent and would make this right. On March 1, 2013 I sent a letter and the repair estimate for $4,628.17 to Sunny Constructors for reimbursement. Alex called me and was very upset that I had alerted Sunny to the claim we were making for water damage due to their faulty work. He explained that the claim was going to be paid by the subcontractor Sergio Velasquez. Mr. Velasquez turned the claim into his insurance carrier, who promptly denied the claim because he had secured the policy of insurance AFTER the loss occurred. Alex blames the insurance company, but most people are aware of the fact that you can't procure insurance coverage after the accident. On April 29, 2013 I contacted the owner Sunny by telephone to see if he has any intention of paying the damages. He assures me they are a good company and that if Sunny Constructors insurance company won't pay it he'll pay us himself. I have not heard from him or his insurance company since so we are going to have to file a lawsuit to collect.

They immediately went out to my property and got back to me with the quote (I contacted MANY other companies and some I never heard back from). They gave me input and options on colors, immediately told me when the original color chosen wasn't immediately available and offered a very similar option (color wise). The job was done professionally, timely and the office staff was some of the most friendly I've dealt with in dealing with many contractors. If I ever hear of anyone who needs a new roof, Sunny will be my first choice.
