Worked in our time frame and did a great job.

Had a sudden opportunity to have rooms painted...Stellar was able to come out and complete the job within a week. Excellent work.

The job went well. They came in and completed the job in a timely fashion. They were very trust worthy and did a superb job.

We scheduled the work to be done when I was away with our baby and dog to avoid being around the fumes and the mess. My husband stayed home to supervise. The painters showed 3 hours after we were told they would arrive. The work was horrible. We were told the job would take 2 days, it took half a day. Nothing was sanded, the painting job was horrible, there was paint splattered on rugs, our bamboo floors, etc. I was very very shocked after reading the reviews here. Guy did come out and look and rescheduled other painters to redo everything and clean up the spills. The second crew did a nice job but it was a huge inconvenience to us-we had to live in the basement for 2 days (since the windows had to be left open to dry after the day of sanding and painting). I was impressed by Guy taking care of the problems and getting it redone, but it should not have happened in the first place. I can't say I would use the company again.

At the outset, before we engaged Stellar, we disagreed with part of the contract and Guy changed it to meet our requirements. His team arrived as scheduled, were easy to work with, very neat, wonderful supervisor, Bertin -- did a great job from top to bottom. They worked from early until late and got the job done ahead of schedule. Only problem is that the paint sheen was wrong. Guy quickly came out to inspect and showed us on the contract that we had agreed to the sheen that was installed. But since we are not paint people, we had not realized our error until the house was painted (hard to see the sheen until the paint is dry - yikes!). We reminded Guy that we had asked for flat paint over and over and the paint wasn't flat. He was a real gentleman, and we easily struck up an agreement that met all of our needs and expectations and the job was completed to our satisfaction and delight! Still ahead of schedule. I am indicating on the questionnaire the final cost was higher than the estimate, but only because we added stuff as we went along and we worked out an arrangement for the sheen problem. The crew cleaned up and helped us move large furniture back into place. We love the results!

They were very good! The only problem is the painters were late sometimes but it wasn't really a big deal. They got it done in a reasonable about of time. They were really nice to work with, and it was a really reasonable price.

Excellent workmanship, great employees to work with. At the end of each day, they totally cleaned up after their work. Would use them again without hesitation.

Jack was great to deal with! The tile guy was fantastic. The remodeling guy left a lot to be desired but Jack did all he could to make it good.

The overall experience went well. The team that did the work were very professional and pleasure to have around. My only unhappiness comes in the form of after the team finishes the job. When they were done, we walked through and I would point out any needs for touch up. But I wish they would give their customers a couple of weeks to come across mistakes or errors because you just can't catch everything in a one time walk-through. In my case I found the wall under the vanity in the master bath wasn't even painted and I've found some areas of light paint. In order to get these fixed I will have to pay them $35/hr, I don't agree with that.

Jack Wilson came out for the initial estimate. From the beginning, I seemed to have communication problems with him. He was to bring granite samples for the countertop, but the next time we spoke, he asked me if I had purchased my vanity top. I reminded him that he was supposed to show me granite samples. He never did. He also said he would get the tile for the floor and tub area and asked me to send him a list. But on several occasions after that, he wanted to know if I picked up my tile. I assumed he wasn t going to pick it up, so my sister and I went out on the weekend to pick it up. I paid for it and had the tile company load it into my car. I also had concerns with the plumbing (to install the new shut-off valves and put in an access panel in the closet). I m not sure the workers were licensed plumbers. I overheard one worker ask the other if he needed to re-flux the pipe and fitting if he needed to change the fitting. Also, one of the workers took one of the shut-off valves and asked the other how do you put these on? They didn t have any plumbing supplies on their truck, and one left to go to the hardware store and get new fittings. They also did not do a good job of patching the drywall when they put holes in the wall to find the pipes. They put tape over the holes and spread a lot of drywall mud on top. It looked fine at first, but later on that evening, the mud slid down the wall and pooled into a blob on the wall. The access panel slides down the wall and leaves an opening if you bump the wall. They also did not vacuum the drywall dust from the carpet. I peeked around the corner and watched them spread it into the carpet. I had to vacuum several times to try and get it all up, but it will not all come up. The carpet has a chalky, stiff feel to it now. I called Jack and expressed my concerns about the work and that I wasn t sure the workers did the plumbing work properly. Jack didn t offer to come and look at it. He said, since you re so unhappy, maybe we should just settle up with what you owe me, and you can find someone else to do the work. The plumbing was the only work they had done, and I paid $300 for that. During this same time-frame, I had Guy Miller s team come out and spray paint my popcorn ceiling, which did not go well either. I paid $950 for the spray painting. I ve purchased a lot of things for the bathroom remodel, including a special order vanity that cannot be returned, tile, grout, fixtures, etc., and I ll have a 36 vanity sitting in the living room of my 695 sq. ft. condo. This company has really left me in a bind. Now, I have to start the process of finding another contractor all over again, and with the holidays coming up, I might not be able to schedule the bathroom remodel until next year. I was really looking forward to my new bathroom. To say the least, this whole ordeal has been very unpleasant and very upsetting.

They were very fast at getting the job done. They even replaced some rotted wood and power washed the house. The pricing wasn't the cheapest of the bids but I felt the most comfortable with them. They were very polite and professional about cleaning up after themself.

When we tried hiring them at first, they were unresponsive. Each time we talked to them, it took about a week for them to get back to us. The over all job came out fine, it looks fine. They were the most expensive and I don't think they were worth the extra money. We had paint all over our windows which we had to scrape off. They painted while we were out of town which we didn't expect. It's been 6 months and paint is coming off our door. They got paint on our outdoor light fixtures. Overall, they weren't worth their money. I thought I was going to be getting good work and attention to detail and that wasn't the case at all. Getting them back to remove the paint and get our windows open was a headache. They did finally come back out to clean the paint off the tops of the exterior lights, but for $6,000.00 I shouldn't have had to do what I did. We could have had this done for a lot less money!

Stellar did an excellent job providing the finishing touches to my kitchen. I love the overall look. Jack came and provided an estimate to the odd jobs that I had requested. He even provided me with some design ideas for the backsplash. The work crew was prompt to the point of being earlier than expected. They were professional, friendly and courteous.

The job went extremely well. The workers were here EVERYDAY, on time and always working. They hardly took time for lunch, just continued to work on my kitchen. They were courteous, happy and excellent carpenters. They cleaned up at the end of the day, and ensured that I was happy with the day's work. Jack continually monitored his staff's work on a daily basis. If anything was not to his satisfaction he made sure it was promptly rectified. Jack assisted on the design of the kitchen which required a complete renovation. All appliances were relocated and all cabinets were replaced. I would highly recommend Jack. He is honest, meticulous and has a great staff of employees. My kitchen is beautiful.

I can only assume that the company only wants expensive jobs; without other contractors' competitive estimates.

They did an excellent job. They were there on time every day and were gone at the end of the day by the time I got home. The work area was always picked up and cleaned by the time I got home. Remodeling is never fun for the homeowner because you feel "invaded." I didn't feel this way, I felt very comfortable because of their professionalism and their cleanliness.

Everything was done on time and at cost, even with a snow day! They did very good work and walked through the house with us to fix anything we noticed. The only bad thing was a some communication if they were going to arrive on the day it snowed.

The job required a great deal of prep work and caulking. It was done quickly and professionally. This if the forth time we've had this house stained and I was very impressed with the job they did.

Stellar was very prompt with its appraisal, contractor included all specifics to include references, insurance coverages, etc. The painting crew arrived on Sunday afternoon and completed power washing of the house in a couple of hours. The paint crew returned on Tuesday and all work was completed by Wednesday. The paint crew members were very professional and delivered a high quality of work.

Fantastic. Stellar was able to meet the promised schedule (for some reason this seems to be an issue with most contractors). Stellar was even willing to wait after day one for me to come home and "make sure" I liked the trim color my husband had convinced me to choose. I didn't like it at all and we had to take corrective actions during the job; Stellar made this as easy as possible, with the least amount of cost difference possible. Their work was outstanding and I have referred them to many others. The paint job has since survived the worst winter Denver has seen in years, and the paint looks as good as new.

The entire job was completed in less than 3 full days! Stellar gave us a discount for being repeat customers and also for being AL customers. The colors blended nicely with the hardwood floors in the entryway and brought out all the color in our home. In adjoining rooms were different colored paint was already applied, the line with new paint was clean. Clean-up was quick and thorough. No drips or messes on floors, carpets, sinks, tub, furniture or baseboards. The walls were evenly painted. The bedroom was done perfectly and the bathroom looked equally great. Bertine was friendly, reliable and trustworthy. He had access to our home while we were away. There was one spot under the counter where the builder had been sloppy with silicone which was resistant to paint. Not Bertine's fault!

The result: Magnificent! Not only did Stellar get the job done in less than two full days but we got a discount for being repeat customers and Angie's List subscribers! The Team Leader, Orlando, and his team were proficient and professional. There were no interruptions to our daily at-home work schedules while they were here. The clean up was impeccable and quick. The brighter tones made the stone work on the house look brighter. The red door is now one of my favorite focal points. It's renewed then entry into the house. We've had two interior painting jobs done by Stellar. Stellar continues to earn my business and respect.
