Overall, the Stellar work crew was outstanding. The estimator and logistics/scheduling personnel were always very friendly and professional, but there was some definite miscommunication. Once I had accepted the work quote, and sent off a signed copy and downpayment, I heard back that they had received the signed quote and was given an estimated timeframe in which the work would begin (about 1 month later, which was what I expected based upon conversations with the Stellar team). I heard nothing else until Monday morning when the paint team arrived at my house, literally 2 minutes before I was going to leave for work. The team was quite friendly, and apparently there was some confusion between Stellar itself and the painting team (which was apparently a sub-contractor) as to who was supposed to contact me and let me know what day/time they would be arriving. After I recovered from the initial shock of having a paint crew truck park in my driveway, the crew leader asked what color paint that I wanted on the deck. This was confusing, since I had submitted that information as part of the quote package that was signed by both myself and Stellar, 1 month prior. However, it turned out that the brand/color selection that I had chosen from the fold-out packet provided by the estimator was not one of the choices offered by the Stellar paint crew. They had an equally hardy and reliable brand, with a color that was just fine and close enough to what we wanted, but still it resulted in several minutes of confusion once the crew had arrived to start work, bright and early Monday morning. While these confusions were somewhat irritating, the paint crew got to work right away, and communicated with me for the duration of the job, which they completed exceptionally well, and cleaned up afterwards. When I say "exceptional", this is coming from a U.S. Marine vet, who knows pretty d*** well how to paint and how to get something clean. The deck looks better than it ever has, and better than most that I've ever seen. The price was also the most competitive, and when combined with this kind of quality, Stellar really can't be beat (I got three quotes: the Stellar quote was 60% of the next lowest quote, and was 40% of the highest). Just make sure that they know that you want specific work dates and times not less than 24 hrs prior to work starting, or something equally agreeable.
Description of Work: Needed to have my deck stripped and stained or painted. A estimator came out to get specifics on what I wanted, and had suggestions to make for the type of deck and location (paint instead of stain), and provided color brochures so that I could pick out the specific color and brand of paint that I wanted among the wide variety of selections that he had on hand. A Stellar team came out to strip the deck, and after the deck had been allowed to dry completely (1-2 days), they came back to put two coats of paint on it.

I thank this member for the Kind words. The date was set, we were on track with no delays for the assigned crew and we showed up on the projected date assigned. We typically will confirm our arrival with an e-mail. That is part of our process. Had our arrival date changed we would have called and/or e-mailed the Client. If this member did not recieve our typical confimmation of arrival, we of course apologize. That would be unusal for sure and again outside our process. Crews occasionally do not review the File prior to an intial interaction with a Client as the Color Selection is always in the Painter Work Order Packet. We will not dispatch a Crew to a Project without Colors Confirmed. See customer, confirm color. That is just the natural course of how many of the Painters think even if they have it at their fingertips. Thats not a Communication problem, that is just the nature of Painters. We are pleased that we produced our usual positive end result. We work tirelessly on our comunication, e-mail & texting programs for our Clients. We do not want to suprise our Clients of our arrival. We will continue to fine tune this process to keep any miscommunication issues to a min. in crazy, fast paced industry. I again thank this member for his comments and it was our pleasure to work for him. Look forward to seeing him again soon.

We found them on Angie's List and it turned out to be very good. They were highly rated on your site but also they had good customer service. What stood out was that we didn't have to be there doing anything, they just took care of everything. They were all very good on the phone and we literally didn't have to deal with them at all. They did the job while we went to work and it was to our satisfaction right away.

My overall experience with Stellar Painting was FANTASTIC! The painters were clean, caring and so very polite. They a came in did there job and were gone. Didn't even know they were here, except for the beautiful results. We have had other painters before and they left such a mess. I was so pleased that I had them come back and do one more room. The very same consistency and results. I can't wait to have them come back and do my bedroom to be honest. I am not going to lie remodeling and painting can be stressful, but you just have to look ahead to the finished product. Stellar made my home beautiful and I am so pleased with the complete job.
Description of Work: We had the exterior of our home painted. They power washed the exterior, removed all the peeling paint and put primer on and it turned out beautiful. Even my neighbors commented on what a professional job they did. We also had our home remodeled by Stellar Remodeling and after that was complete we had the paint crew come back and paint. Including our cabinets in the kitchen which I was leery to do, they turned out wonderful. Just how I invisioned it. They removed the wallpaper, which is a major process. Sure glad I didn't have to do it. We had three bathrooms, the kitchen, hallway and entryway done. They protected everything and were very gentle with my belongings. They definitely know what they are doing.

The team arrived in the morning, looked at the job, and then left to purchase the paint. They were back in about half an hour or so, and started taping off the areas not to be painted. After they got the main hallway and master bedroom taped off, one of the team started to spary the ceilings of both, while the other continued to tape off the upstairs hallway. They sprayed the upstairs hallway ceiling, and started to unmask all areas, and clean the affected areas. The team walked through the areas with me, everything looked as promised, and they packed up their gear and finished the paperwork. The job overall was very well run, and the finished product was excellent.

see above. Update after reading the company's response: I don't appreciate this company lying about me. The owner said that Jack called me back after a week and that he was driving and that's why he couldn't write down my phone number. Both of those things are untrue. It took two weeks for Jack to return my call. When he did call me back, he was in his office watching his computer tech work on his computer. If he wasn't prepared to write down my information, he shouldn't have called me! After reading other owner responses, I'm really glad I didn't go with this company. The owner seems bitter about negative feedback and doesn't seem to want to take responsibility for mistakes. We all know that mistakes happen (we're all human, after all), but consistently denying responsibility and putting the blame on the customer every single time is unprofessional and immature.
Description of Work: I left messages with three different people before I finally got a call back two weeks later to schedule an estimate. The guy who does the remodeling scheduling wouldn't even write down my phone number--he made me call back and leave a message on his voicemail instead.

We always feel bad when we cannot connect with someone. There are all kinds of situations that can come about as to why this can happen. It is never our Intention for something to go wrong in that regard. We would never, ever want someone to think that we do not want to talk to them. I have 2 Office Staffers in our Sales Office to answer and return calls. Our inbound call lead sheet indicates we returned her call the same day she left a message, informed her that we would pass her info. Over to the Remodeling Division and sent an e-mail to Jack that same day. Unknown to my office Staff, Jack had a computer crash and it took more than a week to get it back online. Once Jack saw the message, he called her immediately and left a message for her to call him. When she returned the call, Jack was driving at a high rate of Speed on the Interstate, it was hard to hear and in the name of "Safety”, he asked her to just call back as to when would be a good time to talk to her. We do not have any records of a 3rd call and cannot source out who the 3rd person is she left a message with? We apologize to this member and regret not being able to assist her with the project at hand. Since we take returning calls and talking to potential Clients pretty seriously around her, we have since taken corrective action to avoid this sort of thing happening again. Here is our proactive change; #1-We will now also call Jack or one of his Estimators to let them know we have forwarded lead info. to them on their E-mail. This will help my Sales Office have immediate knowledge of a Computer problem. #2- If they are able, we will give them the same info. over the phone. #3-We will put a “Read Return" Receipt to ensure that my Sales office knows the Lead has been received and read for certain. #4-Lastly, we will Re-evaluate our Scheduling procedures with the Remodeling Group to see if we can set appointments for them a couple days of the week. Traditionally, they have set their own appts. due to project management needs that they are also obligated to during the week. We invest allot in our ability to be responsive to people's needs and again heartfelt regret that we angered this member. However, given the order events, that we did receive/respond immediately to her initial call and even with a delayed response from Jack, an "F" seems a bit harsh. I hope the members understand that this is definitely the exception and not the rule. We continue to work hard to lead the Market in Customer Satisfaction and responsiveness. We wish her well and hope she found a quality Co. to assist her with her needs. Guy W. Miller- President

We decided to go with Stellar after receiving several bids to replace trim and paint portions of the exterior of our home. Price was average when compared to other bids, however, this was with a end of summer discount. The initial job walk through and estimate was handled well and in a timely manner. Work was begun not long after we paid our deposit and signed the appropriate paperwork. From this point on, we were dealing with contractors that worked under the Stellar name, and it is here that we began to see the problems with the quality of work - I like to term it as the "Home Depot Effect". This means that there is so little margin paid to the contractor, that they rush through the job as quickly as possible to minimize the amount of hours it takes to complete the job. Again, these are not employees of Stellar that are paid an hourly wage, therefore, it is in their best interest to take as little time as possible to complete a job in order to maximize their cash flow per job. So who takes the hit - the customer. From start to finish, the time and effort was not put into proper preparation, execution, and completion of our paint job. Power washing the areas to be painted was sub-par. Peeling paint and caulk was not completely scraped or removed and re-sealed. Painting was sloppy with brush strokes overlapping areas that should not have been painted. There were many areas that were not painted that should have been. There were paint drippings on roof tiles, windows, cement, sidewalk, landscaping - there were no drop clothes used anywhere to catch paint drippings. The whole area was left in a mess after the job was completed - tape balls, paint chips and caulk pieces, sanding blocks, and other tools were just a few of the things left all over the place. Now we will say that we did contact Stellar regarding our issues after the job was supposedly completed, and they did attempt to remedy quite a few of the issues by meeting with us and bringing the same crew out to address problem areas - which was handled in a timely and professional manner. Most of our issues where addressed, but after the Stellar representative left the job site, the contractor's workers rushed through the punch list and were out so fast that they left another mess and additional equipment behind. They also left the side gate wide open, so when I let my dogs back out into the backyard, I found them in the front yard about a half hour later. My rating for this job, after the problem areas were attended to, is an average rating - or a "C". The areas that were painted look good from a general glance, but there are still some things that were not completed, although they are minor things that a picky homeowner such as ourselves notice each time we are outside. A larger concern is that areas that were not properly prepared will fail in a year or two and start to look bad. Stellar does have a warranty and hopefully they will address these issues if and when they arise. An update - following the "Provider Response" - It is easy to put words down to sugar coat any situation. The above report was honest and fair according to the work that was done. The ultimate point has been made - honest feedback and ratings are considered inaccurate and false by the Provider. What a great way to treat a customer.

I appreciate this Members comments. Speculation as to the nature or orgin of our crew is odd and out of bounds as they have all worked for us ranging from a yr.to 2 yrs.and the Field Supervisor has been with us for now 8 yrs.'s 80 total hrs were turned in by this Crew & for a Project of this Size indicates that allot of dedicated time and effort was put forth into pleasing this member. There is no incentive provided by us to rush a Project. Incentives are based on the Final Walk Thru Surveys and the Ratings provided thereof. The Account Manager and Field Supervisior made several trips out to the Project to ensure issues were being attended to as desired. All of these issues were very minor in nature and were attended to promptly and in good faith. We gave this Member allot of attention in order to please him every step of the way. It is dissapointing that it was not enough. Touch ups and fine tuning is part what is done for all Painting Projects. The Member painted most of the House on his own thru the summer over the course of monthes. We painted Soffits, Fascia, and a Chimney. Our Presence on the Roof was very limted and we left no paint on any item or Portion of any roof. Trash on property, nor Equipment were left on- site. This member insisted on Carpentry and Board Replacement not scoped in the Bid. His demenor and my crews desire to please him prompted them to do so. He refused to pay anything addl. in this regard which is indicative of the nature of this project. In addition, He mistakenly thought we got paint on a vinly wrap to his Windows which we proved to him was not ours and asked us to make a special trip out to caulk around some Windows prior to an impending snow storm, which we of course did. Punch Out Lists cannot be rushed as their completion is dictated by the Client and not by us. The approval of this List is part of the natural process of a Job's Completion. The Paint job is sound, in good order, produced to a Positive end result and our commitment to back it up is unwaivered as it always has been and always will be. We continue to lead the market in customer satisfaction and offer a geniune desire to please. We wish this member well with his future Contractors.

I COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASE WITH THE WAY THIS COMPANY PERFORMED. THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO IN THEIR ESTIMATE. THEY WERE FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. ALSO THE QUOTE WAS BETTER THAN I HAD HOPED SINCE THIS HOUSE IS A 3300 SQ. FT. HOUSE AND I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE MORE. I DON'T THINK YOU COULD GO WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY. '

The estimator was professional and his bid was the most detailed of the 3 I received. The e-mail communication with the office was top-notch. The painting crew ultimately did a good job but I had to compain to the office to get that accomplished. The crew hurried their prep work and the crew leader did not pay attention when I told him I did not want my gutters painted. The crew leader was not always on site-- I was not able to communicate with the remaining crew. In response to my complaint, the company owner did come on site and give the crew detailed instructions on finishing the prep work. The overspray on the gutters got scrubbed off. The finished paint job is great--but a bit more of a hassle than I had expected.

The first thing I would like to address is the Gutters. The bid she signed indicated to Paint them, There was a bit of back and forth confusion on that and upon the initial walk thru, the Team Leader just misunderstood her while reviewing the proposal. The Over spray on the Gutters was a result of this and was unintentional. It was just an honest to gosh mistake. We immediately removed the Over spray with Simple Greem and Water. It was unfortunate but we attended to it promptly. In regards to prep, when I came by to address the Gutter issue, we walked the House and reviewed the prep. The House was initially prepped and protected well per the bid but I had to review and address with her some expectations of prep that were not scoped in the bid and would not be consistent with the standards of the Industry or what really any Painting Co. would do as a normal course of action. In addition, the Crew was not done prepping as we shifted focus to the Gutters. I Walked the project with the Crew Leader and fine tuned some things in regards to the completion of prep to ensure we matched up with her expectations. In addition, I set up with her a Post prep walk prior to Paint to make sure we were meeting her expectations and she had the ultimate approval to proceed further. I myself visited the Project every day to the Jobs completion to make sure we were making her happy. What more can a good company do? The Crew Leader was away from the Project for about a 1/2 of a Day on one of the Days of prep due to a Family Emergency, thus a gap in on site communication. This was unfortunate but it happens as we all have Family and the walks of life to contend with. The Crew was given instructions for that Morning and were proceeding with those as planned. Timing of this again was unfortunate as this is when the aforementioned unintentional over spray on the gutters was discovered. The Team Leader arrived at Lunch as planned, I was there and that is when we attended to all her needs in a good, diligent and thorough way. This member was a super nice lady and I enjoyed working with her. We just needed to sync up with her expectations and provide some education in regards to irregular edges after scraping, sanding and caulking. For ex.- we do not caulk the outside edge of a soffit as the House breaths thru that gap but we do caulk between the Soffits, ect.. I know we cared greatly about this members concerns, addressed them all in a kind and persistent way and completed the project to a very successful completion. Fine tuning a project to a happy conclusion is just plain simply part of the deal in a human derived and imperfect Industry. Members can always count on our diligence to do so. I thank this member for her comments and we look forward to working with her in the future.

“I recently put out personal inquires with friends and neighbors, in addition to checking Angie’s List online for a contractor to paint my two exterior garage doors along with my two car garage interior. And since my two car garage interior needed additional dry wall work I decided on Stellar Painting & Remodeling given they were high rated on Angie’s List and had a remodeling division to handle the drywall. I worked with Greg Williamson on the initial bid for the entire job and was impressed with his knowledge, communication skills and no nonsense attitude. The job was to be completed in two phases; first the addition of some drywall and finishing all the dry wall surfaces which needed help from Shea Homes initial rough in dry wall six years prior. The first phase with the Stellar Remodeling folks handling the drywall install and surface prep went very well and I was impressed. The second phase with the folks from Stellar Painting was a little less impressive at first which I must take some ownership for in not being clear with my expectations on the specifics of the job. Upon my conveying my initial concerns about the final outcome both Greg Williamson and the owner Guy Miller immediately jumped on the phone and wanted to visit personally and make it right. And, true to their word they did make it right. Both Greg and Guy made multiple follow up trips in accompanying the crews to refine the paint and additional dry wall concerns that evolved with the job. I would like to convey my deepest thank you to everyone at Stellar for being open to customer input and wanting to do the right thing by the customer. It’s getting hard to find that kind of work ethic anymore. I will be once again be calling upon Stellar next Spring for some more exterior painting. Again many thanks. Mark M. Highlands Ranch, CO”

Their handyman was bright, efficient, creative and communicative. He was also punctual and did an even BETTER job than we imagined on nearly every item. It took a little longer in labor hours due to a couple unanticipated glitches because the house is so old - but they communicated with us thoroughly about these issues and were very conscientious and respectful of our budget. We could not be more happy with their work and are already asking them to come back and do more work for us.
Description of Work: Stellar came in, just before we moved into our recently purchased 60 year-old house, and took care of several items on our list of stuff we wanted done to make the house more move-in ready. Here's what they did: Built a closet shelf and hanging bar in a large walk-in storage closet that we were converting into a bedroom closet, installed an electrical outlet in the garage, trimmed the bottom of 5 inside doors to fit better with the new carpet, installed a shelf in the kitchen to put a new microwave on, reinforced a support arm on our screen door, and anchored a new bracket to the wall for our flatscreen TV.

Overall the company did a very good job. They were very thorough, focused on detail and did not spare any effort to ensure the job is done right. Greg did a great job coordinating and even helping with non-painting related items such as finding kitchen cabinet vendor. The only negative is that they took twice as long to complete the job then originally planned. Instead of 1 week it took 2 weeks, but I'd prefer that over rushing to get it done and sacrificing quality. The crew that started painting quit before they were done and another crew was brought in to finish up.

Thanks For the nice review. I know we worked hard on this project that had several diff. phases and addl. requested work. The first crew had a Family Emergency and had to leave the state to attend to it. The job was close to completion and we assigned another crew right away to complete it successfully and within the desired completion. Attention to detail is important to us and again there was allot going on here and we wanted it to look great!

-- They did a poor job following paint lines between floorboards and tile grout in a bathroom. I had them come out once to fix a few items, which I must say they were very responsive to, but there are several more that I have found since that I will probably just do myself. One of the repairs was very poor in the grout, but I did not didnt pursue a resolution with them as I didnt feel they were up to it. They also spilled paint in several spots that should have been covered, that I am still discovering. A very nice entry rug had several paint drips on it that we will have to deal with - once again, I should say the painter offered to try to fix that, but given the other fixes they did I didnt feel that I wanted to trust the resolution of this special item to them. Part of the issue I think with these mishaps is that the crew was very rushed to complete this whole job in one day, and they were visibly rushing towards the end of the day. I think Stellar must give bonuses to their painters for completion time, which I dont think is a good policy for the best service in these situations. I would have never guessed this whole job could be done in that short of time, they estimated 2-3 days at first. -- I would have hoped that given some of the issues I had with the company that they would have done a post-job followup with a supervisor, given their reputation, but that was not done. Hopefully they will read this review some day.
Description of Work: Stellar did a very good job on the exterior of the house, painting just the trim of a large stucco/stone house. They followed border lines and did a good prep job. They also painted a few rooms on the inside. I was surprised and disappointed in a few things with regard to the job, given the "stellar" reviews this company has on Angies. They are as follows:

Let’s start out with a few things here. The Exterior was $3,120.00 of the Total and the Interior was $375.00 and we received an excellent rating from this member on his Post Job walk thru. We walked the entire project both outside and inside with good intention and great commitment to attend to any concerns. We did so and all was well. It was two small rooms, one being a bathroom & the other a small Living Room, not “Several Rooms” as indicated by the member, which seems to be a misleading portrayal of this portion of the project. We always work hard to not get paint anywhere it should not be. We care allot about this and have one of the best protection packages in the business. However, this is a human derived business and sometimes paint will just get on something unintentionally. I can assure you we had the place wrapped and the paint on the entry rug was a mishap for sure. Paint chips and or Roller Dust get generated when you unwrap plastic and it can get on Tile, ect. This is just the nature of construction. We always clean this sort of thing up with a damp rag and a Shop Vacuum. The two very small drips on the Entry Rug was cleaned off in mere minutes with Soap and water which is typical as Paint remains soft and uncured and is easy to remove. In regards to the Bathroom and the Tile to the Wall, the existing Grout Lines and the previous Paint application was crooked and uneven making it difficult for us to re-create a straight line without running the Paint on the Tile. We ended up doing so and creating a nickel edge for this Client in order to provide what he sought. We remain concerned in this regard due to the moisture from the Shower. Thus you can understand we were trying to do the best we could with what we were presented which is a challenge all of us Painting Contractors face daily. We have absolutely no incentive for our Painters to move faster or quicker that what would be appropriate. The Interior work was projected at 8-10 hrs., was easily within that range and actually more as we worked very hard with this member to fine tune things such as described above already. The Crews are incentivized by what counts the most, THE FINAL WALK THRU, which would lend them to do the exact opposite of what this member is speculating. That is what why we put that in place and it has served us very well. Our Post Job Surveys remain at a 97-98% Clip of excellent. Finally, no one heard from this member as to a desired further walk thru or a visit from Management or the Account Manager who was working with him on the project. The Account manager got a call about the 2 small drips on the entry rug, which again cleaned easily. Let me reiterate, not the Account Manager, not the project coordinator, not the office administrator, no one in Management or Ownership heard from this member as to any need for further attention to any segment of this project. He rated us excellent and paid in full after a thorough and patient walk thru with his Team Leader. Thus it seems really unfair to launch a dart at us in this regard along with really mis-representing the scope of work to begin with. We worked hard for this Client in a good caring way like we do for all and wish him well with his next Painting or Remodeling Contractor.

First, we love the new bathroom-- and like most remodel jobs are wondering why it took us so long to finally do it. Overall, our experience with Stellar was a good one. The new bathroom is beautiful, and after using it for about a month everything is functioning perfectly. Our main contact was Jack who was extremely responsive to all of our questions (and complaints too). He was helpful in guiding us toward final decisions about design and materials, and stepped in when needed to solve problems. He also is comfortable with email correspondence-- which for us is a big plus. Not all contractors are as comfortable with email. The job estimate and quote were done in a timely manner, and we didn't need to wait long to get the initial and then a revised estimate. This was a major factor in our decision to hire Stellar. Once we had purchased all of the material we were supplying, work began about a week later. A two-man team was assigned to our job. They were both friendly, respectful of our house, and competent. However, the major issue we had with the job is that though they were excellent craftsmen and did very good work, they didn't do it very quickly. Some of this was due to things taking them longer than estimated, and some was due to missed days or parts of days for various personal reasons-- yes it happens, and we do understand. The end result was that the job went over budget and took longer than expected (estimate of 3-4 weeks, actual 6 weeks.) We don't like leaving contractors in our house while we are not there (which might not be an issue for some people), so this caused us some hassles with work. Both materials and labor went over budget for a variety of reasons (some scope changes, and some not). To his credit, Jack worked with us to provide additional discounts so that we shared the overage cost. Billing for the project was weekly, so we always knew where we stood. And, a big plus was that Stellar accepted credit cards for invoice payments, so we were able to get credit card rewards for the entire job cost. We would definitely use Stellar again for another remodeling project, and would recommend them to people we know, and to you (people we don't know).

Estimator was very polite & professional. Their price was about $200 higher than the low bid. They could have done the work in about 1/2 the time. I didn't go with them because at the time they had a backlog of work & wouldn't be able to get starting for about 2 weeks. If I needed more painting done I would definitely give them another shot.
Description of Work: Had them come out & give me an estimate for painting 3 rooms & a hallway in my home - walls, ceiling, and trim.

They were great. The people that I had working here were conscientious. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. It was a good experience even though it was a long one.

They did an excellent, highly professional job for us. They were far better than any previous painting contractor. They really care and exhibit the highest ethics. They were very precise with 3 different colors and lots of trim on our home and it is perfect. They also did a great job cleaning up afterwards We would recommend them with highes recognition.

They are number one on Angie’s List. The gentleman was very nice, but his bid was a little extraordinary. It was a free estimate. I liked that they were on Angie’s List and had top referrals. What I disliked after the whole process is that they really feel that their work is so stellar that their pricing is extraordinary. They were probably 20% higher than everybody else. The worst part of it was the tile. They subcontracted the tile work to a third party and they charged by the job and not by an hourly rate. It was a flat rate per square foot which is acceptable except that they charge somewhere at $10 a square foot for tile compared to everybody else. I had a conversation with Jack. He is a very nice man and very helpful. He gave me all the time in the world and was very pleasant. Everything about the experience was great except their prices which were unbelievable. I would consider getting bids from them in the future, but I certainly have to look harder at the numbers. Their professionalism was good and they were responsive, but I didn’t use them because they were too expensive.
Description of Work: We received an estimate from Stellar Painting and Remodeling about a month and a half ago for remodeling a bathroom.

I work the second shift and I am NOT a morning person, so I had to find someone who would be willing to hang out in my house for the duration the painters were there. So working the logistics out between my schedule, the person who was hanging at my house, the painters and the fact that my dryer was being delivered on 7/23/11 was a nightmare. So I managed to get it set up for 9am on 7/21/11 which would give me time to get the dogs out of the house and get ready for work. I was on my way to drop off the dogs that morning when I got a call saying the painter's child was sick so they would not be there that day. To say I was p***** off was an understatement, especially after working everything out. And I found it hard to believe that one person calling in would cripple the company enough to cancel a scheduled project. So the next day 3 painters arrived an hour before I expected them, the dogs were still in the house and I wasn't dressed for work, nor was the person here that was going to be hanging at the house. So again, not happy with how it was all set up. So I go off to work and periodically check in, when I left they said we will finish it all today as I was sweating bullets with them getting done in time for the dryer to be delivered. When I came home, I was told they would have to come back the next day to finish it as the lines in the bedroom were not straight and there were places in the laundry room that hadnt been painted. Overall the work the painters did was PHENOMENAL, there are nice crisp lines in the bedroom, they cleaned up after themselves, they were very personable and helped me to move a piece of furniture to the curb. Even Manual was impressed with the crispness of the lines on the wall and took a picture with his cell phone. I would use this company again and again, although I would allow myself more time for the inevitable scheduling screwups. They left Saturday morning at 830am and the dryer was delivered at 9am, thankfully placing a fan in the laundry room resolved the wet walls.
Description of Work: In the laundry room, I had the drywall touched up and textured and then the room painted. In the living room, I had all my painting mistakes fixed and touched up and the baseboards painted. In the bedroom, I had a 18 inch horizontal stripe across the top of the walls and when I painted it didnt know the texture of the wall and the paint would allow seepage. So I had anything but clean lines, so they finished painting the room and fixed that issue as well.

It went very well. My house looks beautiful and many people have commented on the great paint job. The decorator the company uses to help the customer pick paint colors is a great asset to their business and my house looks great.
