Specialty Appliance assigned our installation to John Dadderio, Specialtyand acirc;??s installation manager. John was exceptional for the job of installing a Thermador gas cooktop, combination wall oven and dishwasher, all replacements for outdated appliances. He carefully checked and rechecked measurements, successfully cut our island granite countertop for the Thermador downdraft and cleaned up afterward. More importantly, John was truly dedicated to customer satisfaction, a rarity these days. He made sure we were pleased with each and every step of the installation. Heand acirc;??s the best, and heand acirc;??s patiently training his crew of installers one of whom accompanied him on each of two visits. Specialty Applianceand acirc;??s Erik Rosenquist and other sales people are knowledgeable about their products, honest about pros and cons of features that may or may not be helpful and dedicated to providing help to homeowners such as us who had no kitchen designer or contractor with whom we were working. Given a few this and acirc;??nand acirc;?? thatand acirc;??s that are sure to arise, we are very pleased with the entire Specialty Appliance experience. We used Specialty's location at 8775 E. Orchard.

As a result of being lied by another local appliance company, we purchased appliances for our kitchen remodel that absolutely would not fit in the space. Our project was at a complete standstill - the contractor had to leave the job, telling us he would work us back in once we had the situation worked out. We went to Specialty Appliance and asked for their help in finding a solution that would get our project back on track. The new gas line and cabinetry (with custom appliance openings already cut) had already been installed based on appliance specifications from the previous company. This meant Specialty Appliance had to work within these very pretty narrow parameters, as well as meet our needs for the appliances while staying within our budget. The staff was super friendly and absolutely went out of their way to help us. Not only did they find us high-quality appliances that met all of the criteria, the price was less than what we paid with the previous company. Additionally, Specialty Appliance rushed the order and delivery of our new appliances, kept us informed during the entire process, called to make sure the delivery went well and that we were happy and even sent a hand written note thanking us for our business. We will definitely use Specialty Appliance again, and highly recommend them. Our only regret is that we didn't know about them from the beginning!

Wife and I just moved to the area and wanted to change out our cooktop to induction and update the in wall oven. We did a quick search for Bosch dealers and SA was the closest. Went in the first time and Erik wasn't helpful at all. Not sure if he didn't think we could afford it based upon how we were dressed or something but he was no help answering questions or providing a quote. Went in a week later to look at a few other models and Reuben helped us this time. He was head and shoulders about Erik and we decided to place a order. It turns out that SA uses a third party contractor to do the installs. We were told it would take a week for him to call us to schedule a pre install walk through and we gave it a week and started calling SA to find out if the installer was going to call us. Another week passed and there was no call from him despite my wife and I constantly calling SA for a update. We were always told that they had left a message with the installer and refused to give me his number so I could call directly. After the end of week 2 I took all my documentation (emails and date and times of calls) and provided them to SA stating that if the installer did not call me by the end of the week I would file a dispute with AMEX and take my business elsewhere. The installer finally called and came out for a pre install walk through to ensure everything would fit. While he was here we decided upon a date for the installation. Needless to say that the day before we were told that he couldn't come out. Once again I said I would file a AMEX dispute and the installer managed to "find time" to come out when he said he would.

They guided us through the process of looking at different models. There are only a limited number of ovens that would fit in the space but they searched for them and found them. They supervised the installation. The installer was very good and he was able to do the electrical as well as the installation. There was a delay in getting it out here. We are using them again for a project right now.
