Chris was professional, on-time and worked efficiently. Cost was high, but I have nothing to compare to, so I can only assume it's fair. We would use this company again.

Heating went out, strong smell of gas. Found Rock Heating & Air Conditioning on Angie's List. Rock was very helpful and arrived at my home within 1 1/2 hours. Fixed the problem and certified my furnace. Very pleased with the service I received from Rock. Would highly recommend . Thank you guys!

I had a Jotul gas fireplace, and the pilot light wouldn't stay lit. It hadn't been cleaned in a few years. The person (Jonathan I believe0 that normally would have come to do it was booked up for a week, and I needed it repaired/cleaned sooner. They sent Ernie, and after he thoroughly cleaned it, it worked fine. I think the price seemed a bit high for just the cleaning, but I don't remember what it cost me last time, so maybe it was right on target.

It went great. They inspected and cleaned the fireplace and replaced the filter on the furnace very quickly.

I was very happy with the service provided. Chris arrived when scheduled and called prior to his arrival. Chris did the maintenance / inspection on the furnace and changed the filter and reviewed his findings with me. Since he did not have the filter to replace the old one in my humidifier, he suggested a website where I could order one, gave me the number of the part to order, and showed me how to replace it myself. Chris also performed the maintenance / inspection of a Heatilator fireplace. I was not familiar with that type of fireplace and Chris was good about answering questions regarding it's use. I would use Chris again in a heartbeat.

It went very well. He called and said he would come early if I was home. I told him yes. He showed up very professional, checked and cleaned the furnace, did some work on the fireplace, told me issues with the way it was set up and corrected them. I would definitely use him again.

The furnace was new, and I thought was in great shape, but they were very thorough, tightened a few connectors that had come loose, etc. I knew the fireplace needed some work; they totally took it apart and rebuilt it from the ground up, I was very impressed

Rick and his father did a great job! Hardly knew they were here (in a good way!). Removed old equipment, did a great install, explained the new system and helped process a rebate in less time than they had estimated.

Our most recent call was for a broken, leaking water heater. Chris came out the same day, calling to confirm prior to arriving. He provided a couple of options for replacement, left briefly to pick up the unit we decided on, and returned promptly to remove the old tank & install the new one. Total time was probably 2 - 2 1/2 hr. from initial arrival, and we were up and running with hot water again. No fuss, no mess.

Thursday night the blower motor went out in our furnace - I started making calls at 8:30am Friday morning, I called the number on the furnace (a different company) and they were not able to arrive until Monday with temps being as high as they have been I didn't want to wait if I didn't have to. I started looking at Angie's list and called Rock Heating and Air Conditioning, the receptionist said Ernie was in Centennial and could be there in an hour. I rush home from work, Ernie and I arrived at the house at the same time - I explained to him that we thought the blower motor went out, he said hello to the dogs on the way to the furnace and he went to work. Indeed the blower motor had seized up - I was shocked that Ernie had a motor and all the parts needed on his truck, I figured he would need to make a trip to the supply house but he didn't. I'm not sure if I got the best price available because I didn't get estimates. I paid a $78.00 Diagnostic Charge that I thought should have been forgiven, or at lease combined as a portion of the "Flat Rate" since I had the work was performed at that time. Ernie did tell me about this charge before he started doing the work so it wasn't a surprise, and I was just happy to have it done so quick. Ernie was done with the repair in 2 hours and I was on my way back to work.

We had two estimates. They were very close. We liked Chris best, and found, on his website, a web only coupon, so that sealed the deal. Chris was very professional and knowledgeable, as well as being a really nice guy. The installations went without problems, and we're very happy with the experience. Oh, and Chris wore booties in the house! Impressive.

It was good. He was on time, personable, informative, and fixed the problem that we had. He informed of parts that would need to be fixed next. He did everything he said he was going to do. He was a little bit more expensive but not noticeably.

We have used Chris at Rock Heating & AC for the past 3 years. He is always professional and punctual. On this maintenance visit, he changed out some wires whose outside coating was cracking due to the heat of southern exposure. Not a big deal, but little things like that keep the AC working longer and better. It's such a huge investment that it is worth the peace of mind that maintenance brings.

Chris called in advanced and arrived right on time. He was very professional, cleaned the fireplace, checked and stopped gas leaks and fixed condensation problem. He cleaned up after himself. Overall great experience.

This year, when he came to examine the A/C on June 2nd, Chris discovered that the exterior A/C unit had hail damage (from the previous year). The grill was bent and the fan blades were bent down. He had one part but not the other, so we had to wait about two weeks for both parts to be "in" for replacement (approx. 6/18). I did not run the A/C immediately, because frankly, I like "fresh air" better. A few days after the new parts were installed, we came home from a Father's Day party, the house was hot, so I went to turn on the A/C. The thermostat said something "bizarre" and it appeared that the A/C was already on. That being said, we closed all the windows in the house and turned down the temperature on the thermostat. More than an hour later, the temperature had gone down only one degree! So, we turned the system off. Simultaneously we had some electrical problems and I had to call an electrician in. I had the electrician check the furnace and A/C units for any basic electrical issues, but he could find none. So, we called Chris again and discovered that he was on vacation. He was finally able to come out to our house on July 2nd to evaluate the A/C system. Since it appeared to be working for him, he concluded that we had "frozen" the system making it temporarily "useless." He did not charge us for his last house call.

Professional, polite and timely service call. Chris called 15 minutes prior to the apointment to let me know he was on his way, arrived on schedule, and did an excellent job. Had been 10+ years since installation and 5 years since I last used the unit so to say the least it was overdue for servicing and cleaning. Chris finshed the job in about 35 minutes, using a tarp to protect my carpets, and left me with a fireplace that was working as good as new.

The air conditioner on our 2 year old home abruptly stopped working. Chris came three days later to check it out and give us an estimate. It was our compressor, which cost $782. He had to order the part, and he returned the next week to install it and to establish the maintenance contract (an additional $235). Chris was very professional. The only surprise was that he felt that we needed to have our ducts cleaned by another company, a service that he doesn't perform. He gave us a referral and told me to expect to pay between $400 and $600 for our size home. Even though this was a service HE WASN'T performing, it gave me "sticker shock," and I wasn't expecting it after paying out the $1000 to have the other work performed. I will follow through on his recommendation, but I wish he had talked about the ducts the first time he visited, since cleaning the ducts affects the whole HVAC system.

Chris was very professional, prompt and courteous. His expertise in HVAC is apparent. His prices are competitive for the product and there was no "hard sell."
