Pro Lift Garage Door

Found motor system needed replacing and we discussed the options. Serviceman had a unit in his truck and replaced it immediately. Very happy with his work and he was a nice guy.

OK. However, after the work was done and a few days later, I left a message for the gentleman to return my call. He did not call back.

Beware, this "deal" cost me hundreds of dollars. I purchased the 21 point safety inspection with lubrication and tune up through Angie's List and ended up with a dead garage door opener. I was told it was a "coincidence" that my garage door opener died during the time the service was being done. I was offered $50 off a new door opener and install (which would cost approx. $500). This strange coincidence eroded my confidence in Pro Lift so I contacted a different company to install a new garage door opener. The tech pointed out the main spring had no lubricant, was missing bolts , and the door was not balanced - standard parts of a tune up and lube. Clearly, the 21 point inspection I paid for did not take place. I called Pro Lift and spoke to the GM who promised to refund the cost for the service. Sadly, that was over a month ago and I still haven't seen a refund. Angie's List refused to help in this situation. Save yourself a lot of grief and go with the top notch company I discovered through this nightmare - Modern Overhead Door CO - you will happy you did.

Setup appointment right away. Technician was on time, extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. My doors are now working great and are quiet. Highly recommend this company.

The guy that came out (Corey, I think) was very friendly. He did his best to maintain my dilapidated door and gave me some advice as to what to consider when I eventually need to replace the door here in the next couple of years.

Such a great company. They gave an exact time instead of a window and called and came early. No crazy sales pitch but did give me an overall assessment of what looks good and what will need to replaced in the not to-near future. I had called another company and I'm still really creeped after having them come and do the overpriced - everything needs to be replace sales. This was refreshing. I will definitely use this company again.

Nathan was very professional and informative. He pointed out a couple of areas to keep an eye on, but otherwise said everything is working the way it should be. He ightened everything up, made sure everything is working like it should, and was in and out quickly. I'll be calling them again when I'm ready to update/replace our current system. It's super old and outdated and has been giving us trouble for the last couple of years.

They were on time, performed the work well, and fixed our problematic sensor so we didn't have to replace the whole system.

Nathan knew his business and was able to not only tune up the system but to point to where potential problems would arise. I thought his service was excellent and that he went above and beyond just giving a tune up and trying to sell me more.

They were fabulous! Very professional, got the job done quickly and efficiently, and no smarmy attempts at upselling to something I didn't need. I really felt like this was a great value and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

There was a cancellation so I was called to see if I was available for an earlier appointment - which worked out great. Nathan was very professional and informational. No sales tactics. Will definitely give them a call for any garage-related issues in the future.

Cory came and see the problem right away, he's know what need to be done. I don't think he did the 21points services, may be my old system didn't have that 21 points for him to check. He did the lube and try to get/set me new remote for the garage, it didn't work. my garage is too old. Overall it work now and when I need a new one, I'll contact them.

It was very good, I'm very pleased with what they did. They guy that came out was very helpful and courteous. He showed up on time did what he said he'd do and everything went well. They are efficient and thorough. I would use them again.

I found this company on Angie's list with good ratings and thought I'd give them a try. Nathan called ahead of time and let me know when he'd be arriving. I knew from experience that when one spring breaks on a large door, you really need to replace both of them since they have an expected lifespan that we were well-past. Nathan arrived and quickly went to work, replacing the springs, and testing the spring tension to make sure it was set correctly. He also lubricated all the rollers, and adjusted one of the rails which eliminated some squeaks. Excellent service, and did not try to up-sell us on additional work even though my door could use some work. He just left his card and said he'd love to come handle the door work if we ever decide to replace it. Very professional, and very quick. I will definitely use this company in the future.

It was not very good. Their price would be good if everything works out but I would actually have a problem after they tune it up.

The provider tuned the door up and replaced the spring, rebalanced the door as well. Now the door sounds new again. In the future I will have to replace the opener but he fixed it so it works and doesn't sound like the door is struggling.

The guy was really nice. He was super nice, but he basically came out, I paid for garage tune up or something and he comes out and he's like you're garage is kind of crap and there's really nothing I can do. So he then gave me some brochures and stuff to get a replacement garage door, which I ultimately end up getting to be installed in a couple of weeks. He was nice but basically he just said there was really nothing to tune up that the garage is kind of falling apart, so he showed me a few things that were wrong, where had been like screwed in by somebody that tried to hold it together. So he was fine and again he left me some information about getting a new garage door.

Excellent service. However, he offered to sell me a garage door replacement. I told him that I was not interested at this time.
