It went very well. As soon as I placed the appointment, they just came within days. They did a great job. He was very polite and he went about the work very efficiently. I just wanted the service done, I guess time will tell if everything was done the way it should have been done. I've never had it done before so I have nothing to compare it to.

Prompt scheduling and arrived within arrival window. Service was good, but like many coupons, tried to up-sell. Didn't push it too hard, but definitely was working on up-sell. Very friendly, but didn't know his products that well. In any event, service was well done.

Showed up on time, completed the repairs, and didnt charge me a dime over what I paid for the Big Deal.

Did not try to sell what we didn't need. Friendly and courteous.

The did a great job. I had purchased a big deal and they came out a couple of days after. I also paid more because I had additional stuff done. The guy fixed the motor instead of replacing it, and he saved me some money. I appreciated that.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out good. The guy was qualified and I got good service. It was professional service. He knew what he was doing.

Very punctual. We were on a tight schedule because we were going on vacation. This company understood that and was right on time for the appointment. The repairs were done quickly and efficiently.

I had one broken roller, so I took advantage of the Angies List special. They replaced all the rollers and the garage door is working great. They did a great job and when I need a garage door repair again I will call A Authentic Garage Door Service Co. first.

I called A-Authentic because I received a mailed flyer that had what appeared to be a pretty good deal. The coupon stated "2 springs fully installed for $189, including service call." I checked the company's reputation on Angie's list and it was pretty good.I called the company and they were nice enough. I scheduled the appointment for later that day. The technician arrived within the stated window. Of course to install springs on OUR garage required that he remove a part and that would cost us an additional $50. So much for the good deal! The technician was unprofessional and complained that he had had enough of working in hot garages. Perhaps he needs to find another line of work? I feel that we were bait and switched. I would never call them back.

I called Friday asking for service on my garage door. The phone operator asked me only my name, address and availability. I gave this, and then offered to tell her what my problem was and what kind of door I have. She cut me off saying the tech would check things out. I was very happy to get next day service. The tech arrived on time and was polite, (Saturday) but instantly told me that they do not service the kind of door springs that I have. It's worth noting that they indicated, on their web site, service on this brand (Wayne Dalton). When asked about this the tech said yes they do but not all. He offered to convert the door to the kind of springs they do service for almost $500. Bait and switch? Now I'm stuck on Saturday with a broken door and having to get service on a weekend. This experience likely will cost me a few days of living with a broken door.

The technician called to tell me he was working on a job that was taking longer and he'd be later, he also made sure I understood there was a fee to a maintenance check (I did). He called back again to tell me he would be even later and that sometimes people just need to oil their garage doors...maybe I didn't need the work. I cancelled the call at that point. They didn't seem to need the work today. I will find someone else who can do the work for us.

I called A-Authentic Garage Door Service Co. on June 3rd and the woman who answered the phone was very polite and professional. We set the appointment for the following week to replace the garage door rollers. The technician was prompt and also polite and professional. He inspected the rollers, tracks and opener while listening to my concerns about times when the door malfunctioned. I then went in the house to let him do his work. About 15 minutes later, he was finished and had the rollers replaced, lubed and tuned and explained that the reason for the intermittent malfunction of the door was due to maladjustment of the force settings in the opener which he adjusted at no additional cost. He also recommended that the springs be replaced soon due to how old they were. It was a pleasure doing business with this company and I strongly recommend them and will have them come out to replace the springs. They have my business from here on.

The service provided arrived right on time. I provided him with a description of what was wrong with the door and he knew immediately what the problem was. It was exactly as he thought and he had it fixed in less than two minutes. Then he also changed out the rollers and tuned up the door. It was so good, so fast and easy, that I had him do my other door which was not part of the original deal. He gave me the same deal on the second door so I went ahead and had that done to. He also was kind enough to "sync" my garage door openers so that now each opener can control BOTH doors. I also have a remote opener on the outside of one door, which up to now, only controlled the one door. He programmed it so it can now control both doors. Wow, how cool is that. He was prompt, fast and gave me more service than I expected. His name, as I recall, was Jason who lives in Estes Park.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I'll use them again.

Pros: Customer service was good. I never had to leave voice mail and tech called with an ETA before heading to our property. No extra charge for Saturday service. Tech seemed knowledgeable and taught me some things about garage door maintenance. Cons: They were running a special for $170 to replace both springs. What they didn't tell me was they wouldn't provide the usual 5 year warranty unless I also purchased a new center bearing for $40. This is not a bad idea from what I have read but I didn't like the deceptive sales tactic one bit. This is a $2.50 part which takes a few minutes to change. Maybe $40 is a fair price and maybe it's not but the special should have been $210 to replace springs and center bearing. Also, they didn't break out parts and labor so we had to pay sales tax on the entire bill which probably cost an extra $10;

The reconditioning and roller replacing went quickly and very smoothly. The technician (TSL) arrived on time and checked the basics of the garage door with me. He stated that the quality of the door and opener mechanism was quite good. He noted the door was 13 years old and mentioned that the springs for the door generally last 7 to 15 years. He gave me a price for replacing the springs and I preferred to wait a few more years because we do not use the door as often as most people.

Jason was great. He determined what I needed to get my unit back up and running. I had already bought a replacement system which I thought I would need from Costco but I can return it as I only needed a $100 replacement circuit board which I can easily replace myself instead of the entire unit. While he was there he also checked out the door and oiled the moving parts and checked the rest. I would call him again when I need garage door work as he was very honest and knowledgeable and nice. He even discounts the service call amount to $55 from $65.

The service was excellent. I don't have any problem with them. They are good.

They did like that they gave me the estimate and the estimate was the right amount. They didn’t charge m any extra for the extra work where he found out other things that were wrong when he was working, and he did it all for free, and there was no additional charge. He was on time. He was clean, polite and professional.
