floor cleaning

Description of Work: Called for an estimate to renew my kitchen cabinets. They cancelled the day before my appointment due to losing that employee. They could not reschedule for two weeks. Estimator was on time and very nice. Said the estimate would be ready in 4 days. After 7 days, I emailed to ask for the estimate. I received one the next day in which he stated that he would contact me in a few days. It has been 4 weeks with no contact. I am not using this company!!

cabinet refacing, floor cleaning
+ 0 moreThe finish on my cabinets was worn and blotchy. There were a lot of water stains because the cabinets were not properly finished when I purchased them in 2001. First N-Hance removed the hardware and then cleaned the existing surface. They did not removed the doors from the cabinets themselves. They then removed the existing finish, lightly sanded the bad areas and reapplied a new surface. There was almost no smell and I had no worries for my cats and birds. When it was apparent that they would not complete the job in one day, they called out additional staff and completed the job in the estimated time of 8 hours. I do not have a warranty, but after 60 days, the surface is still fine. I was assured by the owner that if I had any problem with the surfaces, they would come back for free and fix it. I was very happy with them and would recommend them. The kitchen looks great.
Description of Work: They came in and refinished the existing surface of my 10 year old cherry cabinets. This included the door exterior and interior surfaces and any other visible wood area. They did not paint them, but cleaned them and put on a new surface finish so the wood grain shows through and looks like new.

floor cleaning
+ -1 moreWe got estimates from two companies who use the same process. The price was similar, but we chose N-Hance because of the closer attention to detail with treating damaged areas and the tints available. The work was scheduled within a week. Two workers showed up on schedule, explained the process, were careful to protect the surrounding carpet, and completed all the steps in a very efficient manner. The finished floor was absolutely beautiful. The worn areas were no longer grey. They were slightly darker than the rest of the floor because they absorbed more of the tint, but they blended in nicely. Although we recognize the floor won't last as long as a full refinsh with oil-base poly-coat, it was a great solution for our situation.
Description of Work: We had over 600 square feet of oak hardwood floor that was in very bad shape - dirty, worn down to the wood in spots that had turned grey from ground in dirt. Since the house was being prepared for sale, we didn't want to spend a lot to improve the floor, but recognized that a beautiful wood floor was a great selling feature. The "renewal" process is an option to a full refinish, where sanding is involved, at about half the price. Damaged areas are touched up with filler, etc. Then it is scrubbed with a moist abrasion machine, then re-sealed with a water based product. Optional color is added to the first coat of water-based poly coat, and then a final clear coat of polyurathane is applied. We opted to add a burnt umber to the first coat, giving the floor a deeper, richer color that tied in nicely with the cherry cabinets. The entire job was dust, odor and mess free and was finished in about 7 hours.
