Description of Work: We have used Greg for two projects. In May of this year we hired Greg to completely renovate our hall bath. He took everything out, replacing tub, toilet, tile, floor, vanity, sinks (including new plumbing), mirror, medicine cabinet and lighting (including a new light source) in 5 days (Monday - Friday). He had one helper that was here the demo and for the tiling - maybe 2 or 3 days. Greg did a great and timely job. We provided all the fixtures (from the wall out) and had purchased them when he started (most of them were in the garage but he did pick up a few of the larger items like the bathtub). He supplied all the other materials (behind the wall and floor). We were completely satisfied with everything. We were amazed at the speed in which he completed the project. He provided a contract outlining everything he would do, and did it. We also asked him to do a couple of extra things - outside the contract (dry wall repair and paint touchup in the living room), for which we paid him additional money. When he finished, we mentioned that we had some other projects that needed to be done, but we weren't quite ready to begin, so we asked Greg to keep us in mind when he had some time later in the year. He called on December 7th to say he had some free time before Christmas. He came over on the 8th and we decided to remodel the master bathroom. He couldn't start until the 10th and we had family coming on the 20th which left only 10 days for the work - as well as the purchasing of all the materials and fixtures. We knew it would be tight, but Greg was willing, so we decided to move forward. He is absolutely amazing. We had a design and floor plan in our heads, he was able to interpret it, and completed the project on the 20th (10 full working days), with the exception of a couple of minor details (that we were waiting for the materials to come in for). He brought in a helper for the demolition and for the tile work, but otherwise did all of the work himself. We were thrilled with the results. The bathroom/bedroom was complete enough for us to move back into on the 20th, and Greg will be back next week to add some molding to the closet and attach the toe-kick to the vanity. The project involved converting a small 1970's bathroom/closet (with a shower, toilet, single sink and small walk-in closet to a 5-piece master bathroom and new reach-in closets in the master bedroom). It was a complete demolish and rebuilding including walls, plumbing, electric and lighting. He's quick, clean, trustworthy, professional, and does excellent work. We are completely satisfied and would not hesitate to use him again. Because I was usually out shopping while he was at our house working, he did most of the work without our being home. He is a fast worker, so be prepared in advance, otherwise he'll be waiting on you! If you want something done a specific way, let him know in advance. We tried to stay out of Greg's way, and did not get too involved in the little decisions because our involvement just slowed him down. He's very attentive and listens carefully to everything we talked about. He made both projects very enjoyable and we felt that he charged a very fair price. As with any contractor - read the contract to make sure it includes everything you want done, and the timeframe you expect. I never expected Greg to do something we didn't have in the contract but he did do a few extras - like building a tiled niche in the shower wall. We feel confident that if Greg overlooked something, or if we weren't satisfied, he would remedy the situation, and do so in a timely manner.
