The movers are wonderful. Respectful, knowledgeable and worked really fast. I live on the 3rd floor and there was no grumbling about the 2 flights. Overall besides doing an excellent job, I enjoyed spending time with these folks. Definitely use them for you moving projects.

This was an internal building move, one household into two separate apartments. They quickly and carefully moved everything much faster than I thought they would. The three employees worked well together. I have already recommended Gentle John’s Moving to our building management.

Couldnâ t be more thankful and pleased. I got a call from another moving company less than 10 minutes before they were supposed to be at my house telling me they wouldnâ t make it there - I had scheduled my move at least 4 weeks prior. I called Gentle Johnâ s that same morning (Saturday) and asked if there was ANY chance they could move me before the following Tuesday. They got me in the same day. Wow. I was told the crew would be at my house between 1:30-2PM and they drove up at 1:30 on the dot. Their service and crew were amazing, friendly, and careful with my items. Would highly recommend.

My experience with Gentle Johnâ s was top notch from beginning to end. They remained flexible with my move date and truck needs. The 3 gentlemen who showed up were accommodating, careful,, and a pleasure to work with. The worked quickly and efficiently which saved me money in the long run. I will definitely request Gentle Johnâ s send the same team if available for the second half of my move next month.

The 3 young men had the job done in 5 hours moving us from a 2 bed apt to a townhouse. They wrapped everything up in taupes and plastic wrap. No damage was done to our furniture. We will be hiring this company again in the future. We would highly recommend them. Thank you.

Very unprofessional, unresponsive and waste my time and cause big financial damage ($2300) to me since I am not able to move out on time. I am not recommending them to anyone who cares about moving out on time. think twice before reaching them.

The Gentle Johnâ s crew was awesome! They were on time and even though I still had some packing to do, they jumped right in to help finish up. The movers were unvaccinated and didn't have masks (I provided them). One of the 3 kept complaining that he was tired. They broke a lamp, and let me know (that was fine) but I've had to bug the company to pay for a replacement (I'm skeptical they will). When I called to complain about the vax/mask issue, Isaiah hung up on me. They broke my elevator by keeping the door propped open several times for over 100 seconds each time.

We were desperate to get my out-of state dad moved into a memory care facility a few miles from his independent living apartment--pressed by hospital discharge requirements. Other movers could only schedule us a week ahead or more. We live in a different state, had limited time to drive down and work with the crew. Gentle John said they could do it inside 2 days. The crew arrived on time, were polite, efficient, thorough, and got the job done faster than expected--kind and helpful! We are so grateful..
