They were very friendly on the phone, came out when they said they would. They did a test first before they did the reseal to make sure it would work okay. The men who did the work, repaired the concrete before they resealed it, power washed everything, came back and resealed the concrete. They did excellent work for a great price.
Description of Work: They resealed the concrete around my home for 1, 763 square feet.

Initial contact and experience was good. We called and requested an estimate, they called back the next day and came out the same week and drew up a bid. The price was dead on with the other bid we got, Front Range Decorative Concrete (FRDC) just had more detail and a more professional bid sheet, so we went with them. After submitting acceptance of the bid, we got were told we were scheduled for three weeks out. We went by their office location and looked at patterns and colors, which was very nice because they have physical samples on site and smaller ones you can take home if you choose. Three weeks rolls around and we haven't heard anything from them. I called on Monday the week the work was supposed to be done and was told by Nelson that they got tied up on another job by a contractor and we were pushed back a week. it definitely would have been nice to have more warning about this in case i had scheduled vacation at work. I was going to be out of town that next week, so we arrange to meet that Friday so I can review the final plans and details before I leave town. On Thursday he calls to inform me that instead of meeting the next day, they are actually going to come out and start the job. This very short notice wasn't very appreciated, but luckily I work a job where I can work from home on short notice. The crew did show up on Friday and were receptive of the design and letting my install my conduit for lighting once they got the forms set. Nelson's crew worked hard while they were there. I unfortunately can't remember the name of the crew's lead guy, but he was very nice and answered any questions I had and receptive to my input on design as they progressed. Nelson did come by that day and was ok with us adding some additional square footage than originally estimated and was able to give us the new cost on the spot. They did require half the payment at this time after the forms were set. The next week they came on Tuesday to pour the concrete and do the stamping. I talked to my wife that night and we had a couple questions. I called Nelson the next day and he answered my questions and noted the items i was concerned about after feedback from my wife. When i got back into town everything looked great except for one item I had mentioned to him and some trash his crew had left behind. I sent an email to remind him of this. A week or so passed and Nelson called me curious when we would send the second half of payment. I called him back and he had forgotten about the one item. Once he was reminded, he sent a couple guys out a day or two later and they got it taken care of. I then gave them the final check. When it comes down to it, we love our new patio and are very happy with the quality of work. The crew is pleasant to talk to in person, but Nelson and/or his office staff need to really improve their communication skills. Even though they use email to send the bids and final bill, they rarely respond to it if you try to communicate back with them via email. You can usually get Nelson on his cell phone (i think i only had to leave a voicemail one time out of maybe 4 times I called his cell phone), but it takes your initiative to call him. If they can step up the communication to the customer regarding scheduling, then they would be an A+ company. Overall I would say as long as you are a patient person, you will be happy with FRDC.

I was especially impressed by the work crew. They arrived on time and worked hard and tirelessly throughout the day. Tony, the crew supervisor, was very accommodating to my requests and questions. It was apparent that client satisfaction was very important to him and the company. The yard was always kept clean at the end of the day. The patio and shed platform turned out even better than expected. Overall, I would have no trouble recommending this company to anyone.
Description of Work: The crew removed tons of existing earth, bushes, rocks and other debris where the patio and shed platform was going to be poured. Patio is stamped and colored concrete (380 sq. feet, 47 lineal feet of facing). Shed platform is stamped and colored concrete (126 sq. feet, 35 lineal ft of step work).
